Abstract
It is intended to provide MSCs for transplantation that have an improved post-transplantation cell survival rate and engraftment rate and are highly safe with fewer adverse reactions, and a method for conveniently producing MSCs for transplantation having a high cell survival rate and engraftment rate. As means therefor, the present invention provides a stem cell for transplantation comprising an MSC capable of overexpressing IL-10.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 11 . (canceled)
12 . A method for producing a stem cell for transplantation, comprising the step of introducing an interleukin-10 (IL-10) expression system capable of overexpressing IL-10 to a mesenchymal stem cell.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the IL-10 expression system is a plasmid vector or a virus vector.
14 . An agent for enhancing engraftment of a mesenchymal stem cell, wherein the mesenchymal stem cell comprises an interleukin-10 (IL-10) expression system overexpressing IL-10.
15 . The agent of claim 14 , wherein the IL-10 expression system is a plasmid vector or a virus vector.
16 . A method for inducing acquired immunological tolerance, comprising at least one of the following steps:
administering to a recipient at least once, within a period from about 2 to about 14 days before introduction of an immunogen, a mesenchymal stem cell and an immunogen, or a part thereof; or administering a mesenchymal stem cell to the recipient on the day before or the very day of the introduction of the immunogen.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the mesenchymal stem cell is a stem cell for transplantation overexpressing interleukin-10 (IL-10).
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the immunogen is a virus, a cell, a tissue, or an organ.
19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the mesenchymal stem cell is a stem cell for transplantation and overexpressing IL-10, wherein the overexpression of IL-10 is caused by an exogenous IL-10 expression system.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the exogenous IL-10 expression system is a plasmid vector or a virus vector.
21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the mesenchymal stem cell is a stem cell for transplantation and overexpressing interleukin-10 (IL-10), and is intended for the regeneration of at least one of: mesenchymal connective tissue, the central nervous system, or the liver.
22 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the immunogen is a virus, a cell, a tissue, or an organ.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
