Facial Care Method And Device Thereof

Abstract

A method for facial skin care, particularly for people having facial hair, the method using a brush that is sized and shaped to fit comfortably in a user's hand and that has bristles that are arranged in a manner and are comprised of a material that allows the user to apply a moisturizer to the skin beneath his beard.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method of facial skin care, the method comprising the steps of:
 a) applying a facial wash that includes exfoliating components to a user's face;   b) using a brush having sufficient stiffness to penetrate through facial hair to skin beneath the facial hair and sufficient flexibility to apply a skin moisturizer and hair softener to the skin and hair.   
     
     
         2 . A brush for applying skin care products to a user's face through a user's beard, the brush comprising:
 a housing having a sidewall, a floor, a top end and a bottom end; and   a bristle base that is affixed in the housing;   a plurality of bristles grouped into a plurality of bristle pods affixed in the bristle base;   wherein the top end is curved and smaller in circumference than the bottom end that is straight; and   wherein the bristles have a length between approximately 0.25 inches and approximately 0.75 inches and wherein between approximately 20 and approximately 50 bristles are grouped into each pod so that the bristles in the bristle base are sufficiently rigid to pass through the user's beard and massage the user's skin beneath the beard.   
     
     
         3 . The brush of  claim 3 , wherein the bristles are made of a synthetic material that is resistant to allergens. 
     
     
         4 . The brush of  claim 4 , wherein the bristles are in a circular arrangement. 
     
     
         5 . The brush of  claim 5 , wherein the handle is sized to fit comfortably into a user's hand.
