Image forming apparatus

Abstract

An image forming apparatus has a plurality of functions and permits setting an operating condition for each of the functions. The image forming apparatus includes: an operating portion used for operation of selecting each of the functions and setting the operating condition; an image processor that performs an image processing in a manner that depends on a function selected and an operating condition set at the operating portion; and a controller that controls the operating portion and the image processor. If one of the functions is selected at the operating portion and a setting is determined on a predetermined operating condition that is settable within the selected function, the controller prohibits the selected function from being changed to another function.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a user interface used to specify a transmission address or a saving address of image data as a destination; and   a controller controlling the user interface, wherein   the controller disables specification of the saving address by the user interface when the transmission address is specified as the destination.   
     
     
         2 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the controller enables specification of the transmission address to be canceled by the user interface after the transmission address is specified as the destination, and then enables the specification of the saving address in a case where the transmission address is canceled by the user interface.   
     
     
         3 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein, after the transmission address is specified as the destination,
 the controller enables the transmission address to be selectively changed, added, or deleted while disabling the specification of the saving address by the user interface.   
     
     
         4 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the controller allows the user interface to display a list of a plurality of the saving addresses in a state with one of the plurality of the saving addresses selectable when the controller enables the specification of the saving address by the user interface.   
     
     
         5 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the controller allows the user interface to display a list of a plurality of the saving addresses in a state with one of the plurality of the saving addresses selectable when the controller enables the specification of the saving address by the user interface.   
     
     
         6 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein, when the destination is specified,
 the controller enables an operating condition associated with the destination to be set and disables an operating condition not associated with the destination to be set.
