Heat Concentrator
Abstract
A heat concentrator device is provided for concentrating heat from a heat source for heating a container. The heat concentrator includes a heat concentrator body including a first side wall, the body including an upper concentrator end and a lower concentrator end, the body forming an inverted funnel shape. A lower concentrator opening is defined at the lower concentrator end, and an upper concentrator opening defined at the upper concentrator end, the lower concentrator opening being larger than the upper concentrator opening. A plurality of concentrator holes is defined in the side walls. At least one concentrator support extends from the lower concentrator end of the side walls, the at least one concentrator support resiliently biased inwardly, wherein the at least one concentrator support of the side walls is configured to directly engage the heat source, support the side walls, and orient the upper concentrator end toward the container.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A heat concentrator device for heating a container by concentrating heat from a gas burner tube, comprising:
a heat concentrator body including a first side wall and a second side wall, the body including an upper concentrator end and a lower concentrator end, the body forming an inverted funnel shape; a lower concentrator opening defined at the lower concentrator end; an upper concentrator opening defined at the upper concentrator end, the lower concentrator opening being larger than the upper concentrator opening; a plurality of concentrator holes defined in the body; and at least one concentrator support extending from the lower concentrator end, the at least one concentrator support resiliently biased inwardly, wherein the at least one concentrator support is configured to directly engage the gas burner tube.
2 . The heat concentrator device of claim 1 , wherein the lower concentrator opening has a first opening area at least two times a second opening area of the upper concentrator opening.
3 . The heat concentrator device of claim 1 , wherein the body comprises a heat resistant material.
4 . The heat concentrator device of claim 1 , further comprising a chamber formed between the first and second side walls for concentrating heat rising from the lower concentrator opening.
5 . The heat concentrator device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one concentrator support is adjustable
6 . The heat concentrator device of claim 5 , wherein the at least one concentrator support is tension adjustable.
7 . The heat concentrator device of claim 6 , wherein the body includes at least four concentrator supports.
8 . The heat concentrator device of claim 1 , wherein the upper concentrator opening is adjustable.
9 . A method of concentrating heat from a heat source, comprising:
providing a chamber in a heat concentrator; installing the heat concentrator onto the heat source; receiving heat from the heat source through a lower concentrator opening into the chamber; concentrating the heat in the chamber of the heat concentrator; and emitting concentrated heat from an upper concentrator opening.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the step of installing the heat concentrator onto the heat source further comprises sliding at least one concentrator support about the heat source.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the step of installing the heat concentrator onto the heat source further comprises providing a clamping force against the heat source via at least one concentrator support.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising adjusting laterally the at least one concentrator support.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising receiving air into the chamber of the heat concentrator through a plurality of concentrator holes defined in side walls of the heat concentrator.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising positioning the heat concentrator below a container.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
