Abstract

An embodiment of an electronic processing system may include an application processor, persistent storage media communicatively coupled to the application processor, and a graphics subsystem communicatively coupled to the application processor. The graphics subsystem may include a first graphics engine to process a graphics workload, and a second graphics engine to offload at least a portion of the graphics workload from the first graphics engine. The second graphics engine may include a low precision compute engine. The system may further include a wearable display housing the second graphics engine. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

1 . At least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising a set of commands, which when executed by a computing system, cause the computing system to:
 process a graphics workload with a first graphics processor, wherein to process the graphics workload, the first graphics processor is to:
 provide a command stream; 
 retrieve vertex data of primitives associated with the graphics workload; 
 determine lighting data associated with the graphics workload; 
 transform the vertex data; 
 perform foveated render work of the graphics workload; and 
 provide the lighting data to a second graphics processor; 
   wherein the set of commands, when executed by the computing system, are to cause the first graphics processor to make available a distortion operation of the graphics workload to the second graphics processor, the distortion operation to be processed by the second graphics processor based upon a tracked head movement; and   wherein the set of commands, when executed by the computing system, cause the first graphics processor to receive eye tracking data.   
     
     
         2 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 1 , wherein the set of commands, when executed by the computing system, are to cause the first graphics processor to provide the lighting data to the second graphics processor at least in part through a wireless connection. 
     
     
         3 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 1 , wherein the first graphics processor is in a first computing system and the second graphics processor is in a second computing system different from the first computing system. 
     
     
         4 . At least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising a set of commands, which when executed by a computing system, cause the computing system to:
 process, with a second graphics processor, a first portion of a graphics workload made available by a first graphics processor that processes a second portion of the graphics workload including foveated render work of the graphics workload;   wherein to process the first portion of the graphics workload, the second graphics processor is to:
 perform a distortion operation of the first portion of the graphics workload based on a tracked head movement; and 
 obtain lighting data from the first graphics processor; and 
 wherein the set of commands, when executed by the computing system, are to cause the second graphics processor to receive eye tracking data. 
   
     
     
         5 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 4 , wherein the set of commands, when executed by the computing system, are to cause the second graphics processor to receive the lighting data from the first graphics processor at least in part through a wireless connection. 
     
     
         6 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 4 , wherein the first graphics processor is in a first computing system and the second graphics processor is in a second computing system different from the first computing system. 
     
     
         7 . The at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 4 , wherein the second graphics processor is attached to a wearable device wearable by a user; and
 wherein the set of commands, when executed, cause the second graphics processor to provide data to a display attached to the wearable device.   
     
     
         8 . At least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 1 , wherein the foveated render work is associated with at least a portion of the graphics workload that is to be processed by the second graphics processor. 
     
     
         9 . At least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 4 , wherein the foveated render work is associated with the first portion of the graphics workload that is to be processed by the second graphics processor.
