Abstract

A body protection system includes a forearm protector having an outer plate attached to an outer pad, the outer plate and outer pad positionable for protecting an outer portion of a forearm. The forearm protector also includes an inner plate attached to an inner pad, the inner plate and inner pad positionable for protecting an inner portion of the forearm. The inner plate and the outer plate are adjustably and releaseably reconnectable to one another for permitting adjustment with respect to one another for receiving different forearm circumferences therebetween. The forearm protector of claim may further include at least one additional pad connectable to the inner pad providing added padding for increased protection to the forearm.

Claims

1 - 24 . (canceled)

         25 . A forearm protector, comprising:
an outer plate attached to an outer pad, the outer plate and outer pad positionable for protecting an outer portion of a forearm; an inner plate attached to an inner pad ; the inner plate and inner pad positionable for protecting an inner portion of the forearm; and wherein the inner plate and the outer plate are adjustably and releaseably reconnectable to one another for permitting adjustment with respect to one another for receiving different forearm circumferences therebetween.

26 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , further comprising at least one additional pad connectable to the inner pad providing added padding for increased protection to the forearm.

27 . The forearm protector of claim 26 , wherein the at least one additional pad is repositionable adjacent with the inner pad.

28 . The forearm protector of claim 27 , wherein the at least one additional pad is repositionable and reconnectable to the inner pad using a hook and loop technique.

29 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , wherein the outer pad is connected to the outer plate using a permanent connecting technique.

30 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , wherein the outer plate is configured to be connectable to an elbow protector.

31 . The forearm protector of claim 30 , wherein the outer plate is configured to be connectable to an elbow protector using a flexible connecting mechanism.

32 . The forearm protector of claim 30 , wherein the outer plate is configured to be connectable to an elbow protector using a hook and loop technique.

33 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , wherein the outer plate is adjustably and releaseably reconnectable to the inner plate using a hook and loop mechanism.

34 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , wherein an end of the inner pad is positionable adjacent to a thumb of a wearer.

35 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , further including an elbow protector configured to form a concave cavity for receiving an elbow therewithin, the outer plate flexibly connectable to the elbow connector.

36 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , wherein the elbow protector is adjustably connectable to an upper arm protector.

37 . The forearm protector of claim 25 , wherein the outer plate includes a plurality of recesses at a diagonal angle to one another.

         38 . A forearm protector, comprising:
an outer plate attached to an outer pad, the outer plate and outer pad positionable for protecting an outer portion of a forearm; an inner plate attached to an inner pad, the inner plate and inner pad positionable for protecting an inner portion of the forearm; at least one additional pad that is repositionable and reconnectable with the inner pad to provide additional padding to the forearm; and wherein the inner plate and the outer plate are adjustably and releaseably reconnectable to one another for permitting adjustment of spacing with respect to one another for receiving different forearm circumferences therebetween.

39 . A method of providing forearm protection comprising:
providing an outer plate attached to an outer pad, the outer plate and outer pad positionable for protecting an outer portion of a forearm; providing an inner plate attached to an inner pad, the inner plate and inner pad positionable for protecting an inner portion of the forearm; and providing at least one additional pad that is repositionable next to the inner pad to provide additional padding to the forearm, the inner plate and the outer plate adjustably and releaseably reconnectable to one another for permitting adjustment with respect to one another for receiving different forearm circumferences therebetween.

40 . The method of claim 39 , wherein the at least one additional pad is repositionable and reconnectable to the inner pad using a securing mechanism.

41 . The method of claim 39 , wherein in the step of providing the outer plate includes permanently connecting the outer pad to the outer plate.

42 . The method of claim 39 , wherein the outer plate is configured to be connectable to an elbow protector.

43 . The method of claim 42 , wherein the outer plate includes a connecting mechanism to connect the outer plate to an elbow protector

44 . The method of claim 43 , wherein the connecting mechanism comprises a flexible connecting mechanism.

45 . The method of claim 39 , wherein the outer plate is adjustably and releaseably reconnectable to the inner plate using a hook and loop mechanism.
