Printing apparatus, printing method, and non-transitory recording medium

Abstract

There is provided a printing apparatus, including: an obtaining portion and a printing portion. The obtaining portion obtains information regarding an image in which visibility is made to deteriorate on a sheet on which the image is printed. The printing portion overwrites an image having a printing surface pattern on the sheet by using an ink ribbon based on the obtained information.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A printing apparatus, comprising:
 an obtaining portion configured to obtain a setting information, the setting information contain a size of a sheet and a specific area in the sheet, the specific area defined area of printing a pattern image in the sheet;   a setting information storage portion configured to store the setting information;   a detecting portion configured to detect a first size of a first sheet on which the image is printed;   a printing portion configured to overwrite the pattern image on the area in the first sheet based on the set information stored in the setting information storage portion; and   a transport portion configured to transport the first sheet to a discharging port;   when the first size matches the size included in the setting information, the printing portion overwrite the pattern image on the area in the first sheet;   when the first size is not the size included in the setting information, the transport transports the first sheet to the discharging port.   
     
     
         2 . The printing apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a display portion which displays for setting the information,   wherein the display portion displays for setting a range of printing the pattern image, and   wherein the printing portion overwrites the image having the printing surface pattern on the first sheet within the set range.   
     
     
         3 . The printing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the obtaining portion obtain the specific area in a vertical direction and in a horizontal direction with respect to a transporting direction of the sheet, and   wherein the printing portion overwrites the image having the printing surface pattern on the first sheet within the set range in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction.   
     
     
         4 . The printing apparatus according to  claim 2 , further comprising
 a printing format data storage portion configured to store printing format data in which one or more area of the image printed on the sheet is set in advance for every size of the sheet,   wherein the obtaining portion obtain the specific area defined one or more area in the printing format data.   
     
     
         5 . The printing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the printing portion overwrites the image having the pattern image in each of the specific area defined a plural of area contained the set information when a plurality of pieces of information are set.   
     
     
         6 . The printing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the printing a pattern image is configured of a plurality of symbols arranged therein.   
     
     
         7 . A printing method, comprising:
 obtaining a setting information, the setting information contain a size of a sheet and a specific area in the sheet, the specific area defined area of printing a pattern image in the sheet;   storing the setting information;   detecting a first size of a first sheet on which the image is printed;   overwriting the pattern image on the area in the first sheet based on the setting information; and   transporting the first sheet to a discharging port;   when the first size matches the size included in the setting information, overwriting the pattern image on the area in the first sheet;   when the first size is not the size included in the setting information, transporting the first sheet to the discharging port.   
     
     
         8 . A non-transitory recording medium which records a computer program for executing a method in a computer, the method, comprising:
 obtaining a setting information, the setting information contain a size of a sheet and a specific area in the sheet, the specific area defined area of printing a pattern image in the sheet;   storing the setting information;   detecting a first size of a first sheet on which the image is printed;   overwriting the pattern image on the area in the first sheet based on the setting information; and   transporting the first sheet to a discharging port;   when the first size matches the size included in the setting information, overwriting the pattern image on the area in the first sheet;   when the first size is not the size included in the setting information, transporting the first sheet to the discharging port.
