Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method of preventing and/or treating liver disease comprising administering an ACC inhibitor in combination with an FXR agonist to a patient in need thereof.

A method of treating and/or preventing a liver disease in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of an ACC inhibitor in combination with a therapeutically effective amount of an FXR agonist, wherein the ACC inhibitor is a compound of Formula (I): 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
       or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
 and the FXR agonist is a compound of Formula (III):

         7 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein the liver disease is non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of an ACC inhibitor, a therapeutically effective amount of an FXR agonist, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier; wherein the ACC inhibitor is a compound of Formula (I): 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
       or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
