Abstract

A power supply device is caused to execute a new program. An electronic apparatus that receives power from a power supply device in a non-contact manner includes: an intra-apparatus circuit that operates with power received via a power transmission path from the power supply device to the electronic apparatus; a program acquiring unit that acquires a program to be executed by the power supply device from outside, and stores the program; and an apparatus-side communicating unit that transmits the program to the power supply device via the power transmission path.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A power supply device that supplies power to an electronic apparatus in a non-contact manner, the power supply device comprising:
a power supply unit that supplies power to the electronic apparatus via a power transmission path from the power supply device to the electronic apparatus, a communicating unit that transmits a request to transmit a program via the power transmission path.

2 . The power supply device according to claim 1 , wherein the communicating unit transmits the request to transmit the program in response to an inquiry from the electronic apparatus concerning whether to update the program.

3 . The power supply device according to claim 1 , wherein the communicating unit transmits to the electronic apparatus the request to transmit the program in response to receiving a request for the program from another electronic apparatus that is different from the electronic apparatus.

4 . The power supply device according to claim 1 , wherein the communicating unit transmits the request to transmit the program under a condition that the power supply device is not supplying power to the electronic apparatus.

5 . The power supply device according to claim 2 , wherein the communicating unit transmits the request to transmit the program under a condition that the power supply device is not supplying power to the electronic apparatus.

6 . The power supply device according to claim 1 , wherein the program is a program that the power supply device executes.

7 . The power supply device according to claim 2 , wherein the program is a program that the power supply device executes.

8 . The power supply device according to claim 1 , further comprising: a control unit that controls power supply to the electronic apparatus by executing the program.

9 . The power supply device according to claim 3 , wherein the communicating unit transmits the request to transmit the program when power supply from the power supply device to the electronic apparatus is stopped.

10 . An electronic apparatus that receives power from a power supply device in a non-contact manner, the electronic apparatus comprising:
a non-contact type power receiving unit that receives power via a power transmission path from the power supply device to the electronic apparatus; and a communicating unit that transmits, to the power supply device via the power transmission path, a program to be executed by a second electronic apparatus separated from the electronic apparatus.

11 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the program is an updating program to update a program of the second electronic apparatus.

12 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the communicating unit transmits the program to the power supply device under a condition that the non-contact type power receiving unit is not receiving power from the power supply device.

13 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , further comprising an acquiring section that acquires the program via a network or an external memory.

14 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the communicating unit:
transmits an inquiry, via the power transmission path, to the power supply device; and upon receipt of a response indicating that a current program is to be updated, transmits the program to the power supply device via the power transmission path.

15 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the communicating unit:
acquires identification information from the power supply device via the power transmission path; and transmits, to the power supply device via the power transmission path, a program to be executed by an apparatus corresponding to the identification information as the program.

16 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 15 , wherein the communicating unit:
registers a request for a program update received from the power supply device via the power transmission path; acquires the program from the network or an external memory and stores the program, after the request for the program update is registered; and transmits the program via the power transmission path to the power supply device that issued the request for the program update, after the program is stored.

17 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the communicating unit controls the non-contact type power receiving unit to transmit the program after stopping a supply of the received power.

18 . The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the communicating unit transmits the program by modulating a current via the power transmission path.

19 . A non-transitory recording medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause an electronic apparatus to perform operations including:
receiving power via a non-contact type power transmission path from a power supply device to the electronic apparatus; and transmitting, to the power supply device via the non-contact type power transmission path, a program to be executed by a second electronic apparatus separated from the electronic apparatus.

20 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 19 , wherein the operations further comprise causing the electronic apparatus to acquire the program via a network or an external memory.
