Two-in-one drinking vessel
Abstract
A two-in-one drinking vessel having a body portion with a sidewall forming an outer compartment, and an inner compartment disposed within the outer compartment. The inner compartment may be fixedly or removably attached to the body, or attached to a lid. Each of the compartments may be open at the top and may have a threaded upper portion by which the lid can be attached. The lid may sealably attach to the outer compartment, and a fluid passage on the inside of the lid may sealably attach to the inner compartment. At least two orifices having closures, one connected to the outer compartment and one connected to the fluid passage, may be disposed on the lid, which may allow a user to drink from the outer compartment out of one orifice and the inner compartment out of another orifice.

a body portion, the body portion comprising a sidewall forming an outer compartment, and further comprising an inner compartment disposed within the outer compartment, each of the outer compartment and the inner compartment being open at the top; and a lid, the lid comprising a fluid passage interfacing with the inner compartment and a fluid passage interfacing with the outer compartment; wherein an outer rim of the lid is configured to sealably interface with the outer compartment and a fluid passage rim is configured to sealably interfaces with the inner compartment, and wherein the lid has a plurality of closures configured to close the fluid passage interfacing with the inner compartment and the fluid passage interfacing with the outer compartment.
2 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein the inner compartment is removably coupled to the body portion.
3 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein the inner compartment is unconnected to the body portion.
4 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein the multiple-chambered drinking vessel further comprises a removable cap configured to cover the lid.
5 . The vessel of claim 4 , wherein the removable cap secures to the lid by at least one of a snap-fit connection or a threaded connection.
6 . The vessel of claim 5 , wherein the removable cap has a snap-fit connection, a dividing wall is disposed on the lid between two of the plurality of closures, and wherein the removable cap has a corresponding slot disposed therein.
7 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein the removable cap further comprises at least one handle.
8 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the plurality of closures is an enlarged sipper, the enlarged sipper comprising a sipper panel and a sliding closure slidable on the sipper panel.
9 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein one of the plurality of closures comprises a flexible straw.
10 . The vessel of claim 9 , wherein the lid further comprises a straw track disposed on at least one of an upper portion of the lid or around a perimeter of the lid, and wherein a secured position is a position in which the straw is disposed in the straw track.
11 . The vessel of claim 1 , wherein the inner compartment is liquid-permeable and is configured to allow interaction between contents of the inner compartment and the outer compartment.
