Abstract
A method for operating an electronic device is provided. In the method, an electronic cover is connected. Configuration information of the electronic cover is obtained. A User Interface (UI) corresponding to the configuration information is set. Various other embodiments are also possible.

1 . A portable electronic device comprising:
a camera; a first touch screen; a second touch screen; a sensor to detect a position of the second touch screen with respect to the first touch screen; and a processor adapted to:
receive an input to execute an application via the first touch screen or the second touch screen,
display, based at least in part on the input, a first user interface corresponding to the application via the first touch screen and a second user interface corresponding to the application via the second touch screen if the second touch screen is at a first position with respect to the first touch screen, and
display the first user interface corresponding to the application via the first touch screen if the second touch screen is at a second position with respect to the first touch screen.
2 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further adapted to determine, using the sensor, whether the second touch screen is at the first position such that the second touch screen faces a same side as the first touch screen.
3 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further adapted to determine, using the sensor, whether the second touch screen is at the second position such that the second touch screen faces a different side from the first touch screen.
4 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further adapted to determine a corresponding position of the first position and the second position based at least in part on an angle between the first touch screen and the second touch screen.
5 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 ,
wherein the application includes a camera application associated with the camera, and wherein the processor is further adapted to display a preview screen corresponding to the camera application as the first user interface and display an image captured using the camera application as the second user interface if the second touch screen is at the first position with respect to the first touch screen.
6 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 ,
wherein the application includes a gallery application, and wherein the processor is further adapted to display one or more representations corresponding to one or more images captured using the camera as the first user interface and display an image of the one or more images corresponding to a selected representation of the one or more representations as the second user interface if the second touch screen is at the first position with respect to the first touch screen.
7 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further adapted to operate at least part of the portable electronic device in a power save mode at least temporarily during the displaying of the first user interface if the second touch screen is at the second position.
8 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further adapted to adjust a touch sensitivity with respect to the second touch screen or the first touch screen based at least in part on a determination that the second touch screen is at the second position.
9 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first touch screen corresponds to a portion of a flexible touch screen.
10 . The portable electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the second touch screen is electrically and mechanically attachable and detachable from the portable electronic device.
11 . A portable electronic device comprising:
a camera; a first touch screen; a second touch screen foldable with respect to the first touch screen; a sensor to detect a position of the first touch screen or the second touch screen; and a processor adapted to:
receive an input to execute an application via the first touch screen or the second touch screen,
display, based at least in part on the input, a first user interface corresponding to the application via the first touch screen and a second user interface corresponding to the application via the second touch screen if the second touch screen is at a first position with respect to the first touch screen, and
display a third user interface corresponding to the application via the first touch screen or the second touch screen if the second touch screen is at a second position with respect to the first touch screen.
12 . The portable electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further adapted to determine, using the sensor, whether the second touch screen is at the first position such that the second touch screen faces a same side as the first touch screen.
13 . The portable electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further adapted to determine, using the sensor, whether the second touch screen is at the second position such that the second touch screen faces a different side from the first touch screen.
14 . The portable electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further adapted to determine a corresponding position of the first position and the second position based at least in part on an angle between the first touch screen and the second touch screen.
15 . The portable electronic device of claim 11 ,
wherein the application includes a camera application, and wherein the processor is further adapted to display a preview screen corresponding to the camera application as the first user interface and display an image captured using the camera application as the second user interface if the second touch screen is at the first position with respect to the first touch screen.
16 . The portable electronic device of claim 11 ,
wherein the application includes a gallery application, and wherein the processor is further adapted to display one or more representations corresponding to one or more images captured using the camera as the first user interface and display an image of the one or more images corresponding to a selected representation of the one or more representations as the second user interface if the second touch screen is at the first position with respect to the first touch screen.
17 . The portable electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further adapted to display a substantially same user interface to the first user interface as at least part of the displaying of the third user interface if the second touch screen is at the second position.
18 . A portable electronic device comprising:
a camera; a first touch screen disposed to face a same side as the camera; a second touch screen foldable with respect to the first touch screen; a memory to store a first user interface corresponding to an application and a second user interface corresponding to the application; and a processor adapted to:
receive a request to execute the application,
display, based at least in part on the input, the first user interface corresponding to the application via the first touch screen and the second user interface corresponding to the application via the second touch screen if the second touch screen is at a specified position with respect to the first touch screen, and
display, via the first touch screen, at least one portion of a graphical object in response to a user input received using the second user interface.
19 . The portable electronic device of claim 18 ,
wherein the application includes a gallery application, and wherein the processor is further adapted to display one or more representations corresponding to one or more images captured using the camera as the first user interface and display an image of the one or more images corresponding to a selected representation of the one or more representations as the second user interface if the second touch screen is at the specified position with respect to the first touch screen.
