Abstract
A hand-held bidet comprising an adjustable spray-wand and hose that plumbs into the toilet water-supply line and provides a pressurized, adjustable spray of cool water. This spray may be used in the process of personal hygiene by an individual sitting on the toilet, and it may also be used to rinse the toilet bowl.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A handheld bidet attachment device having a spray-wand and hose that plumbs into the toilet water-supply line comprising:
a pipe, constructed of a material selected from the group of stainless steel, brass, vinyl, and injection-molded plastic; nozzle end; a hose end; wherein nozzle end comprises a replaceable spray nozzle; and wherein hose end further comprises a hose coupling; and wherein pipe comprises an elongate handle, constructed from a material selected from the group of stainless steel, brass, vinyl, and injection-molded plastic, further wherein elongate handle has a top end and a bottom end, and further wherein handle is positioned so that bottom end is approximately halfway down the length of pipe; further wherein handle comprises spray control; further comprising water hose; wherein the water hose has a coupling end and a waterline end; wherein waterline end comprises waterline connection and coupling end connects to hose coupling, and the waterline connection is capable of connecting to standard toilet water supply.
2 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 1 , further comprising: an adjustable spray wand wherein the elongate handle comprises a thumb slide spray control comprising a thumb slide which travels along a vertical opening in the elongate handle causing an internal cone to fit into an internal ring, wherein the internal cone is capable of moving along the length of the handle, thereby controlling the flow of water to the nozzle.
3 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 2 , further comprising a gasket to seal the connection between the internal cone and the internal ring.
4 . A method of controlling the volume of spray comprising:
raising thumb slide spray control, thereby lifting the internal cone from the internal ring, allowing maximum water flow; and lowering thumb slide spray control, thereby lowering the internal cone into the internal ring thereby decreasing the flow of water from the nozzle.
5 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 1 , further wherein the water hose is a flexible vinyl hose, terminating in coupling in the form of a threaded T-valve. wherein the T-valve functions as a diverter and is connected to the toilet's water-supply line.
6 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 1 , wherein the handle measures approximately 6 inches in length by 1 inch in dimeter.
7 . The Handheld Bidet Attachment Device of claim 1 , wherein pipe extends approximately 5 inches beyond the handle, and pipe makes an approximately 90-degree elbows bend prior to nozzle.
8 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 1 , wherein the nozzle is replaceable.
9 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 1 , having two nozzles having different spray forces.
10 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 2 , further wherein the water hose is a flexible vinyl hose, terminating in coupling in the form of a threaded T-valve, wherein the T-valve functions as a diverter and is connected to the toilet's water-supply line.
11 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 2 , wherein the handle measures approximately 6 inches in length by 1 inch in diameter.
12 . The Handheld Bidet Attachment Device of claim 1 , wherein pipe extends approximately 5 inches beyond the handle, and pipe makes an approximately 90-degree elbow bend prior to nozzle.
13 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 2 . wherein the nozzle is replaceable.
14 . The handheld bidet attachment device of claim 2 , having two nozzles having different spray forces.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
