Abstract
A punching bag system includes a punching bag that is suspended from a supporting structure. In this way the punching bag is positioned to be struck during striking training. A support is coupled to and extends upwardly from the punching bag and the support is coupled to the supporting structure. A plurality of ball units is provided and each of the ball units is removably coupled to the support. Each of the ball units abuts the punching bag thereby facilitating each of the ball units to be selectively struck during striking training.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A punching bag system comprising:
a punching bag being configured to be suspended from a supporting structure thereby facilitating said punching bag to be struck during striking training; a support being coupled to and extending upwardly from said punching bag, said support being configured to be coupled to the supporting structure; and a plurality of ball units, each of said ball units being removably coupled to said support such that each of said ball units abuts said punching bag wherein each of said ball units is configured to be selectively struck during striking training.
2 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein:
said punching bag has a top end and an outer surface; and said support includes a plurality of lines, each of said lines being coupled to said outer surface, said lines being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said punching bag, each of said lines being aligned with said top end.
3 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein each of said ball units comprises a ball having an exterior surface.
4 . The system according to claim 3 , further comprising a cup being coupled to said exterior surface, said cup having a distal end with respect to said ball.
5 . The system according to claim 4 , further comprising a retainer having a first end and a second end, said retainer being curved between said first end and said second end such that said retainer forms an open loop, each of said first end and said second end being coupled to said distal end of said cup having said retainer extending upwardly therefrom.
6 . The system according to claim 5 , further comprising:
said punching bag having a top end and an outer surface; a plurality of lines, each of said lines being coupled to said outer surface, said lines being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said punching bag, each of said lines being aligned with said top end; and a strap having a primary end and a secondary end, said strap being extended through said retainer wherein said strap is configured to be manipulated, said strap selectively engaging a selected one of said lines such that said ball is positioned on said punching bag.
7 . A punching bag system comprising:
a punching bag being configured to be suspended from a supporting structure thereby facilitating said punching bag to be struck during striking training, said punching bag having a top end and an outer surface; a support being coupled to and extending upwardly from said punching bag, said support being configured to be coupled to the supporting structure, said support including a plurality of lines, each of said lines being coupled to said outer surface, said lines being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said punching bag, each of said lines being aligned with said top end; and a plurality of ball units, each of said ball units being removably coupled to said support such that each of said ball units abuts said punching bag wherein each of said ball units is configured to be selectively struck during striking training, each of said ball units comprising:
a ball having an exterior surface,
a cup being coupled to said exterior surface, said cup having a distal end with respect to said ball,
a retainer having a first end and a second end, said retainer being curved between said first end and said second end such that said retainer forms an open loop, each of said first end and said second end being coupled to said distal end of said cup having said retainer extending upwardly therefrom, and
a strap having a primary end and a secondary end, said strap being extended through said retainer wherein said strap is configured to be manipulated, said strap selectively engaging a selected one of said lines such that said ball is positioned on said punching bag.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
