Abstract

The invention in suitable embodiments is directed to purified clathrin protein therapeutics. In one aspect, one or more purified clathrin protein therapeutic, formed in whole or in part from isolated, synthetic and or recombinant amino acid residues comprising in whole or in part one or more clathrin heavy chain protein and isoforms thereof, forms one or more type of therapeutic agent for treating neuropsychiatric diseases and disorders.

In view of the foregoing, what is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A pharmaceutical composition, comprising at least one of a nanoparticle arrangement (NA) comprised of a plurality of clathrin protein nanoparticles and each NA is not a clathrin protein cage arrangement, each clathrin protein nanoparticle comprising one or more of a full length SEQ ID NO:1 or a humanized variant thereof, and the NA can pass through the blood brain barrier of a subject. 
     
     
         2 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that each of the SEQ ID NO:1 is a clathrin heavy chain protein. 
     
     
         3 . The composition according to  claim 2 , characterized in that one or more of a surface of each of the clathrin heavy chain protein is further modified with at least one of a clathrin light chain protein. 
     
     
         4 . The composition according to  claim 2 , characterized in that the clathrin heavy chain protein is one or more of a part of the clathrin heavy chain protein. 
     
     
         5 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the clathrin protein nanoparticles are formed from molecules selected from at least one of biologically active, biologically inert, biologically modified, chemically modified, chiral, cloned, genetically modified, hybridized, isolated, purified, recombinant, synthetic, masked, unmasked molecules. 
     
     
         6 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that one or more of a surface of the clathrin protein nanoparticles is further modified with at least one biological moiety selected from amino acids, peptides, proteins, neurotransmitters, receptors, adaptor proteins, antibodies, cells, hormones, vitamins, DNA, RNA, RNA variants. 
     
     
         7 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that one or more of a surface of the clathrin protein nanoparticles is further modified with at least one of a masking moiety. 
     
     
         8 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that one or more of a surface of the clathrin protein nanoparticles is further modified with at least one of a targeting moiety. 
     
     
         9 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the clathrin protein nanoparticles are stable in serum. 
     
     
         10 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the clathrin protein nanoparticles are non-immunogenic. 
     
     
         11 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the clathrin protein nanoparticles are non-toxic. 
     
     
         12 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that one or more of a surface of the clathrin protein nanoparticles is further modified with at least one of link selected from biochemicals, biologicals, biotin-avidin couplers, chemicals, communications, covalent, cross-linkers, electrical, electromagnetic, electronic, ESR, fiber optic, functional, information, intelligent, Internet, local, logical, molecular bridges, metals, molecular bridges, molecular tethers, MRI, NMR, non-covalent, PEGs, PET, photonic, physical, polymers, quantum mechanical, radio, remote, spacers, storage, ultrasound, wires. 
     
     
         13 . The composition according to  claim 12 , characterized in that one or more of a terminus of the link, or elements linked thereto, is further modified with one or more of a control element so as to control one or more of the nanoparticle arrangements of  claim 1 .

The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the clathrin protein nanoparticles can pass through at least one of biological barrier selected from blood brain, blood-cerebrospinal, blood vessel, capillary, cell, cell membrane, circumventricular, epithelial, extracellular, fenestrated capillary, fenestrated vessel, intracellular, intramuscular, lipid, lymphatic, nasal, nasal cavity, nasal mucosa, ocular, olfactory epithelium, olfactory nerve, oral, anal, membrane protein, organelle, paracellular, perineural space, plasma membrane, skin, subarachnoid, subcutaneous, tight junction, trigeminal nerve, vomeronasal, vesicle. 
     
     
         15 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the subject is a human. 
     
     
         16 . The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the composition is a drug. 
     
     
         17 . The drug according to  claim 16 , wherein the drug treats at least one of a neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, of a subject. 
     
     
         18 . The drug according to  claim 17 , wherein the neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, is further neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, of central nervous system. 
     
     
         19 . The drug according to  claim 17 , wherein the neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, further comprises cell and at least one of an endocytosis, exocytosis, genes, growth factors, mitosis, trafficking, signaling, DNA, RNA, or RNA variants. 
     
     
         20 . The drug according to  claim 17 , wherein the subject is a human. 
     
     
         21 . The drug according to  claim 17 , characterized in that some portion of the drug is further modified with at least at least one of an adjunct that provides treatment of neuropsychiatric. 
     
     
         22 . The drug according to  claim 16 , wherein the drug is administered to a subject in need thereof. 
     
     
         23 . A method of treating at least one of a neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, in a subject, comprising administering, to the subject, a composition of  claim 1 . 
     
     
         24 . The method according to  claim 23 , wherein the neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, is further neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, of central nervous system. 
     
     
         25 . The method according to  claim 23 , wherein the neuropsychiatric disease, disorder is further comprising cell and at least one of an endocytosis, exocytosis, genes, growth factors, mitosis, trafficking, signaling, DNA, RNA, or RNA variants. 
     
     
         26 . The method according to  claim 23 , wherein the subject is a human. 
     
     
         27 . A method for a pharmaceutical composition, comprising: forming at least one of a nanoparticle arrangement (NA) comprised of a plurality of clathrin protein nanoparticles and each NA is not a clathrin protein cage arrangement, each clathrin protein nanoparticle comprising one or more of a full length SEQ ID NO:1 or a humanized variant thereof, and the NA can pass through the blood brain barrier of a subject, and using the composition for treating at least one of a neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, in the subject. 
     
     
         28 . The method according to  claim 27 , wherein the subject is a human subject. 
     
     
         29 . The method according to  claim 27 , wherein the composition is a drug for treating at least one of a neuropsychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition associated with neuropsychiatric, in the subject.

The composition according to  claim 12 , characterized in that one or more of a terminus of the link, or elements linked thereto is further modified with one or more of a communications element so as to communicate at least one of an information comprising one or more of the elements of  claim 1 .

The composition according to  claim 12 , characterized in that one or more of a terminus of the link, or elements linked thereto is further modified with one or more of a connecter element so as to connect one or more of the elements of  claim 1  together with at least one of an external operator or element.

The composition according to  claim 12 , characterized in that one or more of a terminus of the link, or elements linked thereto, is further modified with one or more of an information processing element so as to process at least one of an information comprising one or more of the elements of  claim 1 .

The composition according to  claim 1 , characterized in that one or more of a surface of the clathrin protein nanoparticles is further modified with at least one non-biological element selected from chemicals, crystals, dopants, gases, fluids, metals, optics, polymers, solids, vapors.
