Topical hirsutism treatment

Abstract

Disclosed is a topical composition for the treatment of hirsutism comprising capryloyl glycine as active ingredient, mixed with dermatologically acceptable carriers.

1 . A topical anti-hirsutism composition comprising capryloyl glycine as active ingredient in admixture with dermatologically acceptable excipients. 
     
     
         2 . A composition according to  claim 1  further comprising one or more active ingredients selected from extracts of  Curcuma longa , soy,  Gymnema sylvestre,  eflornithine. 
     
     
         3 . A composition according to  claim 2  comprising soy extracts. 
     
     
         4 . A composition according to  claim 1  in the form of gel, cream, foam, ointment, lotion, spray, liquid. 
     
     
         5 . A composition according to  claim 1  wherein capryloyl glycine is present in concentrations of 1 to 20% by weight. 
     
     
         6 . Method of inhibiting growth of hair on a body in need thereof with the composition according to  claim 1 , said method comprising applying said composition to said body. 
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 6  to inhibit the growth of hair on the face. 
     
     
         8 . A cosmetic method for inhibiting the growth of hair on a body, said method comprising applying to said body a composition comprising capryloyl glycine at concentrations of 1 to 20% by weight.
