Packaging for plate-shaped elements, particularly for tiles in ceramic material, stone, wood and/or glass

Abstract

The packaging (1) for plate-shaped elements, particularly for tiles in ceramic material, stone, wood and/or glass, comprises a pair of blanks (2) in packaging material folded on a pack of plate-shaped elements (3) to be packaged, wherein each blank (2) comprises a plurality of flaps (10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25) and they are placed in a packaging configuration wherein all the flaps (10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25) of a blank (2) are spaced apart from all the flaps (10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25) of the other blank (2).

1 ) Packaging ( 1 ) for plate-shaped elements, particularly for tiles in ceramic material, stone, wood and/or glass, comprising a pair of blanks ( 2 ) in packaging material folded on a pack of plate-shaped elements ( 3 ) to be packaged, said pack of plate-shaped elements ( 3 ) comprising an upper face ( 4 ), a lower face ( 5 ), a first side ( 6 ), a second side ( 7 ), a third side ( 8 ) and a fourth side ( 9 ), wherein said upper face ( 4 ) is opposite to said lower face ( 5 ), said first side ( 6 ) is opposite to said third side ( 8 ) and said second side ( 7 ) is opposite to said fourth side ( 9 ), wherein each of said blanks ( 2 ) comprises:
 a first central flap ( 10 );   a first lower flap ( 11 ) connected to said first central flap ( 10 ) by means of a first lower folding line ( 12 );   a first upper flap ( 13 ) connected to said first central flap ( 10 ) by means of a first upper folding line ( 14 );   a second central flap ( 15 ) connected to said first central flap ( 10 ) by means of a first lateral folding line ( 16 );   a second lower flap ( 17 ) connected to said second central flap ( 15 ) by means of a second lower folding line ( 18 );   a second upper flap ( 19 ) connected to said second central flap ( 15 ) by means of a second upper folding line ( 20 );   a third central flap ( 21 ) connected to said first central flap ( 10 ) by means of a second lateral folding line ( 22 ) opposite to said first lateral folding line ( 16 );   a third lower flap ( 23 ) connected to said third central flap ( 21 ) by means of a third lower folding line ( 24 );   a third upper flap ( 25 ) connected to said third central flap ( 21 ) by means of a third upper folding line ( 26 );   said blanks ( 2 ) being placed in a packaging configuration wherein said first central flap ( 10 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) is arranged to fully and respectively cover said first side ( 6 ) and said third side ( 8 ), said second central flap ( 15 ) and said third central flap ( 21 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are arranged to partly and respectively cover said second side ( 7 ) and said fourth side ( 9 ), said upper flaps ( 13 ,  19 ,  25 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are arranged to partly cover said upper face ( 4 ), said lower flaps ( 11 ,  17 ,  23 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are arranged to partly cover said lower face ( 5 ), all the flaps ( 10 ,  11 ,  13 ,  15 ,  17 ,  19 ,  21 ,  23 ,  25 ) of a blank ( 2 ) being spaced apart from all the flaps ( 10 ,  11 ,  13 ,  15 ,  17 ,  19 ,  21 ,  23 ,  25 ) of the other blank ( 2 ).   
     
     
         2 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , in that wherein said first upper flap ( 13 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) comprises a first upper edge ( 27 ) opposite to said first upper folding line ( 14 ), in said packaging configuration said first upper edges ( 27 ) being mutually spaced apart from one another. 
     
     
         3 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein said first lower flap ( 11 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) comprises a first lower edge ( 28 ) opposite to said first lower folding line ( 12 ), in said packaging configuration said first lower edges ( 28 ) being mutually spaced apart from one another. 
     
     
         4 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein said second central flap ( 15 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) comprises a first lateral edge ( 29 ) opposite to said first lateral folding line ( 16 ), in said packaging configuration said first lateral edges ( 29 ) being mutually spaced apart from one another. 
     
     
         5 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein said third central flap ( 21 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) comprises a second lateral edge ( 30 ) opposite to said second lateral folding line ( 22 ), in said packaging configuration said second lateral edges ( 30 ) being mutually spaced apart from one another. 
     
     
         6 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein in said packaging configuration:
 said first upper flap ( 13 ) and said second upper flap ( 19 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are overlapped with each other in a first overlapping area ( 31 );   said first upper flap ( 13 ) and said third upper flap ( 25 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are overlapped with each other in a second overlapping area ( 32 );   said first lower flap ( 11 ) and said second lower flap ( 17 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are overlapped with each other in a third overlapping area ( 33 );   said first lower flap ( 11 ) and said third lower flap ( 23 ) of each of said blanks ( 2 ) are overlapped with each other in a fourth overlapping area ( 34 ).   
     
     
         7 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 6 , wherein said packaging ( 1 ) comprises fixing means ( 35 ,  36 ) adapted to maintain said blanks ( 2 ) folded on said pack of plate-shaped elements ( 3 ) in said packaging configuration, wherein said fixing means ( 35 ,  36 ) comprise:
 at least one adhesive element ( 35 ) arranged at each of said overlapping areas ( 31 ,  32 ,  33 ,  34 ); and   at least one strap element ( 36 ) wrapped around said pack of plate-shaped elements ( 3 ) at said upper face ( 4 ), at said lower face ( 5 ), at said first side ( 6 ) and at said third side ( 8 ).   
     
     
         8 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the length of said second and third central flaps ( 15 ,  21 ) is substantially equal to the height of said upper flaps ( 13 ,  19 ,  25 ) and of said lower flaps ( 11 ,  17 ,  23 ). 
     
     
         9 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the length of said second and third central flaps ( 15 ,  21 ) is substantially less than the height of said upper flaps ( 13 ,  19 ,  25 ) and of said lower flaps ( 11 ,  17 ,  23 ). 
     
     
         10 ) Packaging ( 1 ) according to  claim 1 , wherein the length of said second and third central flaps ( 15 ,  21 ) is substantially more than the height of said upper flaps ( 13 ,  19 ,  25 ) and of said lower flaps ( 11 ,  17 ,  23 ).
