Carrying case

Abstract

A carrying case (20) is provided that includes a first portion (22) having a first inner surface (42) and a first outer surface (34). The carrying case also includes a second portion (24) having a second inner (58) surface, a second outer surface (36), and a pocket (68) located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface. An item located in the pocket can be viewed and manipulated from the second outer surface.

1 ) A carrying case, comprising:
 a first portion including a first inner surface, a first outer surface;   a second portion including a second inner surface, a second outer surface, and a pocket located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface, wherein the second portion is formed of a first opaque material and a second transparent material; and   a case zipper with an open position and a closed position extending between the first portion and the second portion;   wherein an item located in the pocket can be viewed and manipulated from a window formed of the transparent material located on the second outer surface, the window being substantially surrounded by the first opaque material;   wherein the first portion includes a first zipper and when the first zipper is in a closed position, the first portion is kept dry when the carrying case is exposed to moisture regardless of the position of the case zipper; and   wherein when the case zipper is in a closed position, the first inner surface and the second inner surface are kept dry when the carrying case is exposed to moisture.   
     
     
         2 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the water resistant fastening means is a book and loop fastener connected to a flap and the second inner surface so that when the flap is in a closed position, the second pocket is kept dry when exposed to moisture regardless of the position of the case zipper. 
     
     
         3 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the first inner surface, the second inner surface, or both includes one or more slits for holding one or more cards. 
     
     
         4 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the first inner surface, the second inner surface, or both includes one or more holders for holding one or more items.

         6 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the carrying case floats when located in liquid. 
     
     
         7 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the carrying case includes one or more straps, wherein the one or more straps include an adjustment feature for adjusting a length of the one or more straps.

         9 ) A carrying case, comprising:
 a first portion including a first inner surface, a first outer surface, and a first pocket located between the first inner surface and the first outer surface;   a second portion including a second inner surface, a second outer surface, and a second pocket located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface, wherein the second portion is formed of a first opaque material and a second transparent material; and a case zipper extending between the first portion and the second portion,   wherein an item located in the second pocket can be viewed and manipulated from a window formed of the transparent material located on the second outer surface, the window being substantially surrounded by the first opaque material,   wherein the first pocket includes a first resealable fastening means that is water tight so that when the resealable fastening means is in a closed position, the first pocket is kept dry when the carrying case is exposed to moisture regardless of the position of the zipper,   wherein the second pocket includes a second resealable fastening means that is water tight so that when the second resealable fastening means is in a closed position, the second pocket is kept dry when the carrying case is exposed to moisture regardless of the position of the zipper,   wherein when the case zipper is in a closed position, the first inner surface and the second inner surface are kept dry when the carrying case is exposed to moisture,   wherein the carrying case is water proof and floats.

         21 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the resealable fastening means is a magnetic seal connected to a flap and the second inner surface so that when the flap is in a closed position, the second pocket is kept dry when the carrying case is exposed to moisture regardless of if the position of the case zipper 
     
     
         22 ) The carrying case of  claim 1 , wherein the case zipper, the resealable fastener, or both include a key, lock to selectively open the case, the second pocket, or both. 
     
     
         23 ) The carrying case of  claim 9 , wherein the first resealable fastening means and the second resealable fastening means may be one or more zippers, one or more buttons, one or more snaps, one or more hook and loop fasteners, one or more magnets, one or more flaps, one or more quick release features, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         24 ) The carrying case of  claim 23 , wherein the first resealable fastening means, the second resealable fastening means, or both include a locking feature, wherein the locking feature is a combination lock. 
     
     
         25 ) The carrying case of  claim 23 , wherein the first resealable fastening means, the second resealable fastening means, or both include a locking feature, wherein the locking feature is a key-lock. 
     
     
         26 ) The carrying case of  claim 17 , wherein the one or more straps are attached to the carrying case by a pair of connection rings, connecting the one or more straps to the carrying case. 
     
     
         27 ) The carrying case of  claim 26 , wherein the pair of connection rings are secured to the second outer portion of the carrying case by a pair of reinforcements, wherein the connection rings are positioned such that a user may wear the one or more straps over the shoulder allowing accessibility to the first inner portion and the second inner portion of the carrying case when the case zipper is in the open position.
