Information processing apparatus and information processing method

Abstract

A system and method for recommending content to a user. In embodiments of the system and method, one or more content groups is generated, at least one of the content groups including more than one type of content, and a display indicative of the one or more content groups is presented to the user.

         2 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 circuitry configured to control to:   create a plurality of content groups based on creation logics different from each other, wherein the plurality of content groups includes a first content group including a plurality of contents;   reproduce a first content from the first content group based on user selection of the first content received via an input interface configured to receive a user operation;   create a sub-content group including at least one sub-content related to the first content, wherein the at least one sub-content is provided together with the first content; and   provide a plurality of related contents corresponding to each of the first content and the at least one sub-content.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the first content is a video content and at least one of the at least one sub-content is an image content. 
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the first content is an image content and at least one of the at least one sub-content is an audio content. 
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to refresh at least one of the plurality of content groups based on a second user operation. 
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein a respective creation logic for at least one of the plurality of content groups is provided together with the corresponding content group. 
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the creation logics for the plurality of content groups are created based on algorithms different from each other. 
     
     
         8 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of content groups have different categories from each other. 
     
     
         9 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the first content is changed based on a second user operation. 
     
     
         10 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the first content is automatically changed at predetermined time intervals. 
     
     
         11 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , further comprising the input interface. 
     
     
         12 . A method for use with an information processing apparatus having at least one processor, the method comprising:
 creating, by use of the at least one processor, a plurality of content groups based on creation logics different from each other, wherein the plurality of content groups includes a first content group including a plurality of contents;   reproducing, by use of the at least one processor, a first content from the first content group based on user selection of the first content received via an input interface configured to receive a user operation;   creating, by use of the at least one processor, a sub-content group including at least one sub-content related to the first content, wherein the at least one sub-content is provided together with the first content; and   providing, by use of the at least one processor, a plurality of related contents corresponding to each of the first content and the at least one sub-content.   
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the first content is a video content and at least one of the at least one sub-content is an image content. 
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the first content is an image content and at least one of the at least one sub-content is an audio content. 
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 12 , further comprising:
 refreshing, by use of the at least one processor, at least one of the plurality of content groups based on a second user operation.   
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein a respective creation logic for at least one of the plurality of content groups is provided together with the corresponding content group. 
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the creation logics for the plurality of content groups are created based on algorithms different from each other. 
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the plurality of content groups have different categories from each other. 
     
     
         19 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the first content is automatically changed at predetermined time intervals. 
     
     
         20 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein the information processing apparatus includes the input interface. 
     
     
         21 . A computer-readable non-transitory medium configured to store a program, the program comprising:
 creating a plurality of content groups based on creation logics different from each other, wherein the plurality of content groups includes a first content group including a plurality of contents;   reproducing a first content from the first content group based on user selection of the first content received via an input interface configured to receive a user operation;   creating a sub-content group including at least one sub-content related to the first content, wherein the at least one sub-content is provided together with the first content; and   providing a plurality of related contents corresponding to each of the first content and the at least one sub-content.
