Abstract

A control system includes an information obtaining apparatus, a network, and a control apparatus. The information obtaining apparatus includes a distance information obtaining unit configured to obtain a distance information indicating a distance to an object and a transmission unit configured to transmit the distance information obtained by the distance information obtaining unit. The control apparatus includes a reception unit configured to receive the distance information transmitted by the transmission unit via the network, a distance information correction unit configured to correct the distance information received by the reception unit, and a control unit configured to perform control using the distance information corrected by the distance information correction unit. The distance information correction unit corrects the distance information based on a time taken from when the distance information is obtained by the distance information obtaining unit until the distance information is input to the distance information correction unit.

         14 . A control system comprising:
 a control device mountable on a vehicle and comprising:
 a memory; and 
 a control circuit configured to:
 receive a distance information indicating a distance between the vehicle and an object via a network; 
 receive a first time indicating a time when the distance information is obtained by an information distance obtainer; 
 obtain a second time indicating a time when the control circuit receives the distance information, the second time being different from the first time; 
 correct the distance information based on the time between the first time and the second time; and 
 perform control based on the corrected distance information. 
 
   
     
     
         15 . The control system according to  claim 14 , wherein the information distance obtainer is mounted on the vehicle. 
     
     
         16 . The control system according to  claim 14 , wherein the network is ethernet and is included in the vehicle. 
     
     
         17 . The control system according to  claim 14 , wherein the distance information is encoded before the control circuit receives and the control circuit decodes the distance information. 
     
     
         18 . The control system according to  claim 14 , wherein the control circuit controls the vehicle using the distance information.
