Abstract

Generally, a scanner of the present embodiment, which reads a first surface with a first reading section configured to read the first surface of a sheet and a second surface with a second reading section configured to read the second surface opposite to the first surface of the sheet, executes individual processing on a first reading image of the first surface and a second reading image of the second surface.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A scanner which reads a first surface of a sheet with a first reading section configured to read the first surface of the sheet and a second surface opposite to the first surface of the sheet with a second reading section configured to read the second surface of the sheet, wherein
 the scanner creates a first file which contains a first reading image of the first surface of the sheet and does not contain a second reading image of the second surface of the sheet and the second file which contains the second reading image of the sheet and does not contain the first reading image of the sheet,   the scanner sends one of the first file or the second file by email and stores the other of the first file or the second file.   
     
     
         2 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the scanner reads the first surface and the second surface of each sheet among the plurality of sheets continuously and creates the first file and the second file, and the first file contains the first reading image of each sheet and does not contain the second reading image of each sheet, and the second file contains the second reading image of each sheet and does not contain the first reading image of each sheet, and   the scanner sends one of the first file or the second file by email and stores the other of the first file or the second file after reading the first surfaces and the second surfaces of the plurality of sheets.   
     
     
         3 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the scanner receives a selection of sending one of reading image on the first surface and the second surface by email and receives a sending destination.   
     
     
         4 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the scanner receives a selection of storing one of reading image on the first surface and the second surface and receives a selection of a storage destination of the reading image in a storage area of the scanner.   
     
     
         5 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 a space between the first reading section and the second reading section in a conveyance direction of the sheet is shorter than a length of the sheet in the conveyance direction.   
     
     
         6 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the scanner detects the sending destination of email from one of the first file or the second file and sends the other one of the first file or the second file to the sending destination.   
     
     
         7 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 if a marker indicating the forbiddance of a processing is detected from one of the first file or the second file, the processing on the other one of the first file or the second file is forbidden.   
     
     
         8 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the scanner includes a web server function for supplying a webpage to a client terminal, the scanner receives setting of sending one of the first file or the second file by email and setting of storing the other of the first file or the second file on the webpage.   
     
     
         9 . The scanner according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the scanner comprises an image forming section configured to form an image on a sheet.   
     
     
         10 . A reading process by a scanner which comprises a first reading section configured to read a first surface of a sheet and a second reading section configured to read a second surface opposite to the first surface of the sheet, the reading process comprising:
 reading the first surface and the second surface of a sheet with the first reading section and the second reading section;   creating a first file which contains a first reading image of the first surface of the sheet and does not contain a second reading image of the second surface of the sheet and the second file which contains the second reading image of the sheet and does not contain the first reading image of the sheet;   sending one of the first file or the second file by email; and   storing the other of the first file or the second file.   
     
     
         11 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 reading the first surface and the second surface of each sheet among the plurality of sheets continuously and creating the first file and the second file, and the first file comprising the first reading image of each sheet and does not contain the second reading image of each sheet, and the second file comprises the second reading image of each sheet and does not contain the first reading image of each sheet, and   sending one of the first file or the second file by email and storing the other of the first file or the second file after reading the first surfaces and the second surfaces of the plurality of sheets.   
     
     
         12 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 receiving a selection of sending one of reading image on the first surface and the second surface by email and receiving a sending destination.   
     
     
         13 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 receiving a selection of storing one of reading image on the first surface and the second surface and receiving a selection of a storage destination of the reading image in a storage area of the scanner.   
     
     
         14 . The process according to  claim 10 , wherein
 a space between the first reading section and the second reading section in a conveyance direction of the sheet is shorter than a length of the sheet in the conveyance direction.   
     
     
         15 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 detecting the sending destination of email from one of the first file or the second file and sending the other one of the first file or the second file to the sending destination.   
     
     
         16 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 if a marker indicating the forbiddance of a processing is detected from one of the first file or the second file, forbidding the processing on the other one of the first file or the second file.   
     
     
         17 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 supplying a webpage to a client terminal,   receiving setting of sending one of the first file or the second file by email, and   storing the other of the first file or the second file on the webpage.   
     
     
         18 . The process according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 forming an image on a sheet.
