Abstract
A method includes detecting a touch operation that is performed by a user on a sensor disposed in an area on an outer surface of the terminal except on a touchscreen; generating touch information according to the touch operation; and when the generated touch information meets a condition of enabling a function module of the terminal or enabling a function type of the function module, enabling the function module or the function type of the function module.

A method for enabling a first function module of a terminal or a first function type of the first function module of the terminal, wherein the terminal comprises at least two sensors disposed in different areas on an outer surface of the terminal, wherein the different areas correspond to respective function modules of the terminal that include the first function modules or to respective function types of the first function module that include the first function type, and wherein the method comprises:
detecting a touch operation from a user on a first of the at least two sensors in a first area of the different areas; generating touch information according to the touch operation; and enabling the first function module or the first function type corresponding to the first area when the generated touch information meets a condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the touch information comprises at least a touch location, and wherein the touch information further comprises at least one of a touch time, a touch gesture, and a touched-sensor type.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location is the same as a saved touch location that is used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location and the generated touch time are the same as a saved touch location and a saved touch time, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location and the generated touch gesture are the same as a saved touch location and a saved touch gesture, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location and the generated touched-sensor type are the same as a saved touch location and a saved touched-sensor type, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location, the generated touch time, and the generated touch gesture are the same as a saved touch location, a saved touch time, and a saved touch gesture, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the function module comprises that, when the generated touch location, the generated touch time, and the generated touched-sensor type are the same as a saved touch location, a saved touch time, and a saved touched-sensor type, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location, the generated touch gesture, and the generated touched-sensor type are the same as a saved touch location, a saved touch gesture, and a saved touched-sensor type, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The method of claim 2 , wherein that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module comprises that, when the generated touch location, the generated touch time, the generated touch gesture, and the generated touched-sensor type are the same as a saved touch location, a saved touch time, a saved touch gesture, and a saved touched-sensor type, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module, it is determined that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.
11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensor comprises at least one of a temperature sensor, a capacitive sensor, a resistive sensor, an infrared optical sensor, a pressure sensor, or a levitation sensor.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first function module comprises at least one of a camera, a loudspeaker, an earpiece, an audio monitoring unit, a subscriber identity module (SIM) switchover module, or a wireless charging module.
13 . A terminal device, comprising:
at least two sensors disposed in different areas on an outer surface of the terminal device, wherein the different areas correspond to respective function modules of the terminal device that include a first function module or to respective function types of the first function module that include a first function type, and wherein each of the at least two sensors is configured to detect a touch operation of a user in a respective area of the different areas; and a computer processor coupled to the at least two sensors and configured to:
generate touch information according to a touch operation detected by a first of the at least two sensors in a first area of the different areas; and
enable the first function module or the first function type corresponding to the first area, wherein the first function module is configured to implement a service function when the touch information meets a condition of enabling the first function module of the terminal or enabling the first function type of the first function module.
14 . The terminal device of claim 13 , wherein the touch information comprises at least a touch location, and wherein the touch information further comprises at least one of a touch time, a touch gesture, and a touched-sensor type.

The terminal device of claim 14 , wherein the computer processor is configured to, when the touch location is the same as a saved touch location that is used for enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module, determine that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The terminal device of claim 14 , wherein the computer processor is configured to, when the touch location and the touch time are the same as a saved touch location and a saved touch time, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module, determine that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The terminal device of claim 14 , wherein the computer processor is configured to, when the touch location and the touch gesture are the same as a saved touch location and a saved touch gesture, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module, determine that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The terminal device of claim 14 , wherein the computer processor is configured to, when the touch location and the touched-sensor type are the same as a saved touch location and a saved touched-sensor type, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module, determine that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module.

The terminal device of claim 14 , wherein the computer processor is configured to, when the touch location, the touch time, and the touch gesture are the same as a saved touch location, a saved touch time, and a saved touch gesture, respectively, that are used for enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module, determine that the generated touch information meets the condition of enabling the first function module or enabling the first function type of the first function module.
