Abstract

A device for aiding in taking on and off a glove of an elastic material from a hand of a user. The opening of the glove is reinforced by a flexible collar. The device includes a container with an opening for receiving the glove and hand, and with a circumferential rim for supporting the collar such that the container and glove inserted into the container form a closed compartment. The container has a bellow to change the volume and pressure within the container. A vent in the container is opened by the hand from within the compartment for removing any under pressure when the container volume is increased, such that the hand inserted in a glove can be easily withdrawn from the compartment. A method of manufacturing a glove for use in such device is also provided.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A glove comprising an opening for the insertion of a hand of a user, wherein the opening is reinforced by a collar of an essentially conical shape and forming an outwardly extending and folded down border on the glove.

2 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the collar comprises an inner ring and an outer ring pressed onto the opening of the glove.

3 . The glove according to claim 2 , wherein the outer ring comprises a number of slits.

4 . The glove according to claim 2 , wherein the diameter of the outer ring is larger than the diameter of the inner ring.

5 . The glove according to claim 2 , wherein the inner ring comprises a bent edge for the glove edge to be hold onto.

6 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the collar is of an elastomer material or of a rubber material.

7 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the collar is shaped to be received on a conical edge surface with an inclination between 0-60 degrees.

8 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the collar is shaped to be received on a conical edge surface with an inclination between 2-30 degrees.

9 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the collar is shaped to be received on a conical edge surface with an inclination between about 5-15 degrees.

10 . The glove according to claim 7 , wherein the inclination of the edge surface is smaller than the inclination of the glove border, such as a difference of 4-20 degrees.

11 . The glove according to claim 7 , wherein the inclination of the edge surface is smaller than the inclination of the glove border, such as a difference of approximately 8-12 degrees.

12 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the border has a width of 5-25 mm.

13 . The glove according to claim 1 , wherein the border has a width of 10-20 mm.
