Abstract

Wrapping paper having a printed side intended to face outwards when wrapped around an article, characterised in that the printed side is coated with a layer of remoistenable adhesive.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . Wrapping paper having a printed obverse side intended to face outwards when wrapped around an article, and a reverse side intended to face an article being wrapped, wherein both the obverse and the reverse sides of the paper are entirely coated in a layer of remoistenable adhesive. 
     
     
         2 . The wrapping paper as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the print overlies the remoistenable adhesive layer. 
     
     
         3 . The wrapping paper as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the paper is printed on both sides. 
     
     
         4 . The wrapping paper as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the weight of remoistenable adhesive applied to each side of the paper is 10 g/m 2 . 
     
     
         5 . A kit of parts comprising wrapping paper as claimed in  claim 1  and a remoistening tool.
