Motorcycle frame rack

Abstract

A motorcycle frame rack enables a motorcycle frame to be repaired without removing many components from the motorcycle. A motorcycle is positioned on the motorcycle frame rack, secured in place and then the frame is adjusted using chains coupled to towers. A self-centering laser measuring system is able to be used to analyze and measure damage to the motorcycle frame.

         21 . A device for repairing a motorcycle frame of a motorcycle comprising:
 a. a bar; and   b. one or more pulling points coupled to the bar, wherein the bar is configured for insertion into a neck of the motorcycle, and the one or more pulling points are configured to receive one or more pulling devices to adjust the neck of the motorcycle.   
     
     
         22 . The device of  claim 21  wherein the one or more pulling devices comprise one or more cables or one or more chains. 
     
     
         23 . The device of  claim 21  further comprising a plurality of plates, wherein the plurality of plates each include an aperture for receiving the bar. 
     
     
         24 . The device of  claim 23  wherein the plurality of plates are further configured for receiving a plurality of additional bars. 
     
     
         25 . The device of  claim 23  wherein the plurality of plates include the one or more pulling points. 
     
     
         26 . The device of  claim 23  wherein at least one of the plurality of plates is configured to be removed by sliding off the bar to enable the bar to receive the neck of the motorcycle. 
     
     
         27 . The device of  claim 21  wherein the one or more pulling devices are coupled to one or more towers positioned in relation to a deck. 
     
     
         28 . A method of repairing a motorcycle frame of a motorcycle comprising:
 a. inserting a neck puller into a neck of the motorcycle, wherein the neck puller comprises a bar and one or more pulling points, further wherein the bar is inserted into the neck of the motorcycle, and the one or more pulling points are configured to receive one or more pulling devices to adjust the neck of the motorcycle; and   b. adjusting the neck of the motorcycle using the neck puller.   
     
     
         29 . The method of  claim 28  wherein adjusting the neck of the motorcycle is adjusting the neck to approximately an original configuration. 
     
     
         30 . The method of  claim 29  wherein the original configuration is based on factory specifications stored within a computing device coupled to the rack. 
     
     
         31 . The method of  claim 28  further comprising coupling the one or more pulling devices to the one or more pulling points, wherein the one or more pulling devices are coupled to one or more towers. 
     
     
         32 . The method of  claim 28  wherein adjusting the neck comprises moving the one or more towers which pull the neck in one or more directions. 
     
     
         33 . The method of  claim 28  wherein adjusting the neck is performed automatically. 
     
     
         34 . The method of  claim 28  wherein adjusting the neck is performed manually. 
     
     
         35 . A device for repairing a motorcycle frame of a motorcycle comprising:
 a. a laser measuring system configured for measuring the motorcycle frame; and   b. one or more pulling devices coupled to each of one or more towers for coupling to a neck puller for adjusting a neck of the motorcycle frame, the neck puller configured for insertion into a neck of the motorcycle, wherein the neck puller comprises a bar and one or more pulling points, further wherein the bar is inserted into the neck of the motorcycle, and the one or more pulling points are configured to receive the one or more pulling devices to adjust the neck of the motorcycle.   
     
     
         36 . The device of  claim 35  wherein the one or more pulling devices comprise one or more cables or one or more chains. 
     
     
         37 . The device of  claim 35  wherein the neck puller comprises a plurality of plates, wherein the plurality of plates each include an aperture for receiving the bar. 
     
     
         38 . The device of  claim 37  wherein the plurality of plates are further configured for receiving a plurality of additional bars. 
     
     
         39 . The device of  claim 37  wherein the plurality of plates include the one or more pulling points. 
     
     
         40 . The device of  claim 37  wherein at least one of the plurality of plates is configured to be removed by sliding off the bar to enable the bar to receive the neck of the motorcycle.
