Electric tool

Abstract

A rechargeable grinder includes a brushless motor, a main body housing configured to accommodate the brushless motor, a main switch and a micro switch configured to distribute power to the brushless motor, and a switch lever capable of moving with respect to the main switch and the micro switch, wherein a lock off lever capable of operating the micro switch in association with movement of the switch lever toward a switch is provided so as to be movable between a lock release position in which the micro switch can be operated and a lock position in which the micro switch cannot be operated.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An electric power tool comprising:
 a spindle;   a blushless motor configured to rotate the spindle;   a main housing including a cylindrical storage portion that accommodates the blushless motor, a switch that is accommodated rearward of the blushless motor, a grip that is designed to be thinner than the storage portion, and a battery mounting portion on which a battery pack is mounted rearward of the grip; and   a switch lever disposed in a lower part of the grip and configured to operate the switch.   
     
     
         2 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the switch lever extends to outside of the blushless motor. 
     
     
         3 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein a controller configured to control the blushless motor is disposed rearward of the switch. 
     
     
         4 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein a controller configured to control the blushless motor is disposed rearward of the switch lever. 
     
     
         5 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the switch lever has a supporting point at a front end thereof to pivot upward and downward. 
     
     
         6 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the switch lever is provided with a lock-off member configured to operably move between a lock position in which a movement of the switch lever is restricted in a normal state and a lock release position in which a restriction of movement of the switch lever is released. 
     
     
         7 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the grip is disposed in an upwardly eccentric position with respect to an axis of the storage portion, and 
       a recess portion is formed in a lower surface of the main housing in a manner such that a rear part of the switch lever is positioned within the recess portion. 
     
     
         8 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the battery mounting portion includes an opening to receive a coupling portion from above, the coupling portion including a fusing terminal of the battery pack,
 the battery pack is slid in a vertical posture to be mounted on the battery mounting portion from above with the coupling portion facing forward, and   the battery pack does not protrude downward with respect to the battery mounting portion in a mounting state.   
     
     
         9 . The electric power tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the battery pack is mounted on the battery mounting portion in an orthogonal posture with the main housing so that the main housing is vertically disposed with the battery pack positioned at a bottom. 
     
     
         10 . A grinder comprising:
 a spindle projecting downward   a blushless motor configured to rotate the spindle;   a main housing including a cylindrical storage portion that accommodates the blushless motor, a switch that is accommodated rearward of the blushless motor, a grip that is designed to be thinner than the storage portion, and a battery mounting portion on which a battery pack is mounted rearward of the grip; and   a switch lever disposed in a lower part of the grip and configured to operate the switch.
