Abstract

The gas generating agent of the present invention comprises an oxalic acid salt of an aminoguanidine compound represented by general formula (1) below.

1 . A gas generating agent comprising an oxalic acid salt of an aminoguanidine compound represented by general formula (1) below: 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
       wherein X and Y are each independently a hydrogen atom or an amino group. 
     
     
         2 . The gas generating agent according to  claim 1 , wherein in the oxalic acid salt of the aminoguanidine compound, a molar ratio of the aminoguanidine compound to oxalic acid (aminoguanidine compound:oxalic acid) is in a range of 1:1 to 2:1. 
     
     
         3 . The gas generating agent according to  claim 1 , wherein the aminoguanidine compound is aminoguanidine. 
     
     
         4 . The gas generating agent according to  claim 1 , wherein the gas generating agent is a microcapsule-based agent. 
     
     
         5 . A foamable composition comprising the gas generating agent according to  claim 1  a material to be foamed. 
     
     
         6 . The foamable composition according to  claim 5 , wherein the material to be foamed is a thermoplastic resin and/or a rubber. 
     
     
         7 . A method for producing a foam, comprising a step of heating the foamable composition according to  claim 5 . 
     
     
         8 . A foam, wherein the foam obtained by foaming the foamable composition according to  claim 5 .
