Abstract
A first responder decontamination system, method, and apparatus comprising of a fluid supply in fluidic connection with a pipe further connected to a fluid dispenser, a valve r providing the fluid to the fluid dispenser from the fluid supply, a mounting bracket for adjustably mounting the fluid dispenser to a vehicle, and a pump configured to control pressure of the fluid supply. The fluid supply can be used to decontaminate first responders exiting a contaminated area.

21 . A first responder decontamination system comprising:
a fluid supply: a pipe connected to a fluid dispenser wherein said pipe extends from a vehicle; and a valve for providing said fluid to said fluid dispenser from said fluid supply.
22 . The system of 21 wherein said vehicle comprises a first responder vehicle.
23 . The system of claim 22 wherein said fluid supply is associated with said first responder vehicle.
24 . The system of claim 21 wherein said fluid dispenser further comprises a deluge shower dispenser.
25 . The system of claim 21 wherein said fluid supply comprises a fire hydrant.
26 . The system of claim 21 further comprising a mounting bracket connected to said vehicle said mounting bracket further comprising:
a base plate: and
a means for fastening said base plate to said vehicle.
27 . The system of claim 21 further comprising a pump configured to control pressure of said fluid supply said pump further comprising:
a cool pump configured to cool said fluid supply; and
a heater configured to heat said fluid supply.
28 . A first responder decontamination apparatus comprising:
a fluid supply; a pipe connected to a fluid dispenser wherein said pipe extends from a vehicle; and a valve for providing said fluid to said fluid dispenser from said fluid supply.
29 . The apparatus of claim 28 wherein said vehicle comprises a first responder vehicle.
30 . The apparatus of claim 29 wherein said fluid supply is associated with said first responder vehicle.
31 . The apparatus of claim 28 wherein said fluid dispenser further comprises a deluge shower dispenser.
32 . The apparatus of claim 28 wherein said fluid supply comprises a fire hydrant.
33 . The apparatus of claim 28 further comprising a mounting bracket connected to said vehicle said mounting bracket further comprising:
a base plate: and
a means for fastening said base plate to said vehicle
34 . A method for decontaminating first responders said method comprising:
providing a fluid supply; connecting a fluid dispenser to a vehicle with a pipe; controlling flow of said fluid supply with a valve; and operating said valve upon a first responder exiting a contamination zone thereby showering said first responder with said fluid supply.
35 . The method of claim 34 wherein said vehicle comprises a first responder vehicle.
36 . The method of claim 35 wherein said fluid supply is associated with said first responder vehicle.
37 . The method of claim 34 wherein said fluid dispenser further comprises a deluge shower dispenser.
38 . The method of claim 34 wherein said fluid supply comprises a fire hydrant.
39 . The method of claim 34 further comprising;
attaching said fluid dispenser to said vehicle with a mounting bracket said mounting bracket further comprising:
a base plate; and
a means for fastening said base plate to said vehicle.
40 . The method of claim 34 further comprising:
controlling said pressure of said fluid supply with a pump;
selectively cooling said fluid supply with a cool pump; and
