. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein said orifice is in the shape of said mouth.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein said peelable protective cover and said dispensing liner are made of a foil material.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein a lower liner surface of said dispensing liner is affixed to said mouth by a permanent bond.

. The shaker top of claim 4 , wherein said permanent bond is an induction seal.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein said peelable protective cover is affixed to said dispensing liner with a mechanism chosen from the group consisting of an induction seal and adhesive.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein said peelable protective cover has a diameter less than a diameter of said dispensing liner.

. The shaker top of claim 7 , wherein said peelable protective cover is the shape of said orifice.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein said peelable protective cover includes a tab that is not sealed to said dispensing liner.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , wherein said peelable protective cover further includes a membrane vent.

. The shaker top of claim 1 , further including a cap chosen from the group consisting of a snap-on cap and a screw-on cap.

. A method of manufacturing a shaker top with a peelable protective cover, including the steps of:
affixing a peelable protective cover upon a dispensing liner; assembling a top unit including the peelable protective cover and the dispensing liner; affixing the top unit to a mouth of a laundry soap bottle; and covering the laundry soap bottle with a cap.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein said affixing a peelable protective cover step is performed by induction heating.

. The method of claim 13 , wherein the dispensing liner and peelable protective cover are made of a metallic foil or foil laminate and include a heat sealable adhesive.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein said affixing the top unit step is performed by a method chosen from the group consisting of induction heating and compressing a pressure sensitive adhesive.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein said assembling a top unit is performed by affixing the dispensing liner to the mouth of the container and affixing the peelable protective cover to the dispensing liner.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein the dispensing liner includes an orifice.

. The method of claim 17 , wherein the orifice is in the shape of the mouth.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein the peelable protective cover has a diameter less than a diameter of the dispensing liner.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein the peelable protective cover is the shape of the orifice.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein the peelable protective cover includes a tab that is not sealed to the dispensing liner.

. The method of claim 12 , wherein the peelable protective cover further includes a membrane vent.

. A shaker top with a peelable protective cover, made by the method of claim 12 .

. A method of using a laundry soap container having a shaker top with a seal, including the steps of:
