System and two dimensional printing method in a three-dimensional printing support
Abstract
The invention relates to a 2D printing method on a 3D printing support, consisting of forming a printing support comprised of a plurality of colored fibers that follow a printing pattern, which once joined and shaped into a block, can be transversally cut, thereby obtaining printed sheets according to said printing pattern. The invention further relates to the printing support, comprised of a block ( 1 ), wherein in one embodiment same is composed of a plurality of hollow tubes ( 2 ) having a cavity that can be filled with a coloring means and in another embodiment same is composed of solid tubes. After the coloring means hardens and the block ( 1 ) solidifies, the latter can be transversally cut parallel to the printing face ( 4 ) into a plurality of strips ( 5 ) that will depend on the required volume of advertising signs, posters or banners, among others.

56 . A method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images, the method comprising:
providing a medium through at least a first end of a printing support, wherein the printing support comprises a plurality adjacent boundary portions having axes extending in a first direction, wherein the medium is provided at the first end of the plurality of adjacent boundary portions causing the medium to flow towards a second end of the printing support opposite the first end; densifying the medium in the printing support to form a plurality of pixels, wherein the pixels at least partially maintain the shape of the interior of the boundary portions; transversely dividing the plurality of densified pixels along a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction to form a plurality of sheets having an image formed by the plurality of pixels.
57 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 56 , wherein each of the boundary portions form a hollow tube.
58 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 56 , wherein each of the boundary portions are non-absorbent.
59 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 58 , wherein each non-absorbent boundary portion surrounds an absorbent portion.
60 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 59 , wherein the printing support is formed by stacking a plurality of sheets.
61 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 60 , wherein the sheets are transversely divided by separating at least one of the plurality of sheets from the printing support.
62 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 61 , wherein each of the sheets comprise at least one of a cellulose or polymer.
63 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 61 , wherein the medium is an ink.
64 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 56 wherein the sheets are transversely divided by transversely cutting at least a portion of the plurality of densified pixels along the second direction.
65 . The method of forming an image of claim 56 , wherein a first one of the adjacent boundary portions is configured to receive a first color medium, and a second one of the adjacent boundary portions is configured to receive a second color medium different from the first color medium.
66 . A method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images, the method comprising:
providing a medium through a printing support, wherein the printing support comprises a plurality adjacent hollow tubes having axes extending in a first direction, wherein the medium emerges through a first end of the printing support as a plurality of tube-shaped pixels; densifying the tube-shaped pixels such that the pixels at least partially maintain the shape of the interior of the hollow tubes; transversely cutting the densified pixels along a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction to form a plurality of sheets having an image formed by the plurality of pixels.
67 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein densifying the tube-shaped pixels comprises adhering the plurality of tube-shaped pixels together.
68 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein the tube-shaped pixels are adhered by at least one of an adhesive, a thermal fusing, and friction welding.
69 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein the tube-shaped pixels are formed of a material that solidifies through contact with air, wherein the tube-shaped pixels contact one another as they emerge from the first end of the printing support and are adhered and solidified to one another through contact with air.
70 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein the hollow tubes have a circular cross section.
71 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein the hollow tubes have a square cross section.
72 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein the hollow tubes have a hexagonal cross section.
73 . The method for forming a plurality of substantially identical images of claim 66 , wherein providing a medium through the printing support further comprises:
providing a first color medium through a first one of the plurality of hollow tubes; providing a second color medium through a second one of the plurality of hollow tubes, wherein the first color is different from the second color.
74 . An apparatus for forming a plurality of substantially identical images, the apparatus comprising:
a printing support, wherein the printing support includes a plurality of adjacent hollow portions having axes extending in the first direction, wherein the plurality of adjacent hollow portions are configured to receive a medium at a first end and expel the medium at a second end opposite the first end, wherein the medium is expelled to form a series of hollow portion-shaped pixels that at least partially maintain the shape of the interior of the hollow portions.
75 .
