Optimization of delivery to a recipient in a moving vehicle
Abstract
A method includes receiving a first signal originating from a first communication device located in a vehicle, the first signal indicating a requested product or service, a receiving time for the requested product or service, and a moving route of the vehicle, determining a receiving location of the requested product or service based on the receiving time and the moving route indicated by the first signal, and transmitting a second signal to a second communication device associated with the determined receiving location, the second signal indicating an instruction to prepare the requested product or service.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method comprising:
receiving a first signal originating from a first communication device located in a vehicle, the first signal indicating a requested product or service, a receiving time for the requested product or service, and a moving route of the vehicle; determining a receiving location of the requested product or service based on the receiving time and the moving route indicated by the first signal; and transmitting a second signal to a second communication device associated with the determined receiving location, the second signal indicating an instruction to prepare the requested product or service.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the determining includes determining the receiving location based on a traffic or weather condition of the moving route, and wherein the method further comprises:
determining a new receiving location of the requested product or service based on a change in the traffic or weather condition of the moving route; transmitting a new second signal to a second communication device associated with the determined new receiving location, the new second signal indicating an instruction to prepare the requested product or service; and transmitting a correction signal to the second communication device that received the second signal, the correction signal indicating that the instruction of the second signal is canceled.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second signal indicates an instruction to finish preparing the requested product or service at the receiving time or to begin or finish preparing the requested product or service at a specified time prior to the receiving time, and wherein the method further comprises:
predicting an arrival time of the first communication device at the receiving location based on the moving route indicated by the first signal and a traffic or weather condition of the moving route; updating the receiving time based on the predicted arrival time; and transmitting a correction signal to the second communication device that received the second signal, the correction signal indicating an instruction to finish preparing the requested product or service at the updated receiving time or to begin or finish preparing the requested product or service at an updated specified time prior to the updated receiving time.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
