Abstract
An apparatuses and method for securing a landed aerospace vehicle/object onto a landing pad includes a use of the magnetic force to couple the landed aerospace vehicle/object with the landing pad. A magnetized base captures and is anchored onto the landing pad. The use of a rocket booster in a high-gravity environment with the ensuring extreme heat exhaust emission considers the use of an exhaust ventilation system.

(a) a landing pad; (b) a vehicle/object base; and (c) a magnetic clamping force.
2 . The MALS of claim 1 , wherein a magnetic field is generated on the landing pad.
3 . The MALS of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle/object base includes a temporary magnet surface.
4 . The MALS of claim 2 , wherein the vehicle/object base is magnetically clamped with the landing pad.
5 . The MALS of claim 1 , wherein the landing pad includes a temporary magnet surface.
6 . The MALS of claim 1 , wherein a magnetic field is generated on the vehicle/object base.
7 . The MALS of claim 6 , wherein the vehicle/object base is magnetically clamped with the landing pad.
8 . The MALS of claim 1 , wherein a magnetic field is generated on the landing pad and the vehicle/object base.
9 . The MALS of claim 8 , wherein the vehicle/object base is magnetically clamped with the landing pad.
10 . An exhaust diversion system comprising:
(a) a funneling apparatus; (b) a tunneling apparatus; and (c) an evacuation apparatus.
11 . The exhaust diversion system of claim 10 , wherein a funneling apparatus is positioned under the rocket booster engines.
12 . The exhaust diversion system of claim 11 , wherein rocket exhaust is directed into the funneling apparatus.
13 . The exhaust evacuation system of claim 10 , wherein the tunneling apparatus includes a pipe, tunnel, or other guidance form.
14 . The exhaust evacuation system of claim 13 , wherein the tunneling apparatus is attached to the funneling apparatus.
15 . The exhaust evacuation system of claim 14 , wherein the rocket exhaust is piped from the funneling apparatus into the tunneling apparatus.
16 . The exhaust evacuation system of claim 10 , wherein the rocket exhaust is blown or sucked from the magnetized landing area by the evacuation apparatus.
17 . The exhaust evacuation system of claim 11 , wherein the funneling apparatus can be raised to a height, whereby evacuation of the rocket exhaust may be initiated earlier in the descent stage.
18 . A method of anchoring a base onto a landing pad using the magnetic force, the method comprising:
(a) establishing a surface or surfaces on the landing pad and the vehicle/object base capable of magnetization; (b) inducing a magnetic field on either the surface of the landing pad or the surface of the vehicle/object base or the surface of the landing pad and the surface of the vehicle/object base; and (c) contacting the surface of the vehicle/object base with the surface of the landing pad.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the vehicle/object base surface is magnetically clamped to the landing pad surface.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the vehicle/object is stabilized and secured onto the landing pad.
