Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a self-assembly block toy set in which each block interlocks with each other laterally, at right angles along the side of each of the blocks, vertically or in other various ways, thereby being assembled into diverse models. The self-assembly block toy set includes a plurality of square blocks, wherein the square block includes a main body unit that assumes the shape of a square prism with specific height, an interlocking unit that forms outside each side of the main body unit, a vertical interlocking protuberance or a vertical interlocking slot that forms on the top surface and the bottom surface of the main body unit, a cross axis inserting hole that forms at the center of the main body unit and a plurality of interlocking unit inserting holes that form in the main body unit except for the cross axis inserting hole.

15 . A self-assembly block toy set comprising:
a plurality of square blocks 100 wherein the square block 100 includes: a main body unit 110 that assumes the shape of a square prism with specific height; a first interlocking unit 120 that is formed on one side of the outer surface of each side of the main body unit 110 ; a second interlocking unit 130 that is formed on the other side of the outer surface of each side of the main body unit 110 ; a plurality of vertical interlocking protuberances 140 that are formed on the top surface of the main body unit 110 ; a plurality of vertical interlocking slots 150 that are formed on the bottom surface of the main body unit 110 ; a cross axis inserting hole 160 that is formed at the center of the main body unit 110 ; a plurality of interlocking unit inserting holes 170 formed in the main body unit 110 save for the cross axis inserting hole 160 ; and a straight line slot 180 that is elongated inside the main body unit 110 along the edge of the main body unit 110 on the top surface and the bottom surface of the main body unit 110 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 wherein the first interlocking unit 120 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 121 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 of the other one of the square blocks 100 is inserted thereinto; slots 122 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 121 ; and protuberances 123 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 121 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 130 includes: an H-shaped interlocking tip 131 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 of the other one of the square blocks 100 ; and protuberances 132 that are formed in a symmetrical way at the outer top end of each leaf of the H-shaped interlocking tip 131 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 wherein the first interlocking unit 120 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 124 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 of the other one of the square blocks 100 is inserted thereinto; slots 122 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 121 ; and protuberances 123 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 121 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 130 includes: an I-shaped interlocking tip 133 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 of the other one of the square blocks 100 ; and protuberances 134 that are formed in a symmetrical way at the outer wall of the I-shaped interlocking tip 133 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 wherein the first interlocking unit 120 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 124 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 of the other one of the square blocks 100 is inserted thereinto; protuberances 125 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 124 ; and protuberances 126 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 124 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 130 includes: an I-shaped interlocking tip 135 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 of the other one of the square blocks 100 and has an enneagonal unit 136 at the front end in the vertical direction; and slots 137 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the I-shaped interlocking tip 135 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 wherein the interlocking unit inserting holes 170 formed in the main body unit 110 save for the cross axis inserting hole 160 have a structure into which the interlocking tip 121 , 124 of the first interlocking unit 120 and the interlocking tip 131 , 133 , 135 of the second interlocking unit 130 of the other one of the square blocks 100 are inserted at right angles and include a plurality of square inserting holes 171 into which the interlocking tip 121 , 124 of the first interlocking unit 120 of the other one of the square blocks 100 is inserted and a plurality of X-shaped inserting holes 172 into which the interlocking tip 131 , 133 , 135 of the second interlocking unit 130 of the other one of the square blocks 100 is inserted.
20 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 wherein the main body unit 110 includes, at the center of the outer surface of each side thereof, a third interlocking unit 190 which has an interlocking tip 191 , whose two leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that a side of the main body unit 110 of the other one of the square blocks 100 is inserted thereinto at right angles, wherein the interlocking tip 191 of the third interlocking unit 190 is shorter than the interlocking tip 121 , 131 of the first and second interlocking unit 120 , 130 and has protuberances 192 on its inner surface, wherein one of the protuberances 192 is formed in the top portion of the inner surface while the other is formed in the bottom portion of the inner surface; a side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 is formed on the straight line slot 180 , away from the center of the straight line slot 180 in one direction, of each side of the top surface of the main body unit 110 while the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 is formed on the straight line slot 180 , away from the center of the straight line slot 180 in the other direction, of each side of the bottom surface of the main body unit 110 ; and, when a side of the main body unit 110 of one of the square blocks 100 interlocks orthogonally with a side of the main body unit 110 of the other one of the square block 100 , one of the the protuberances 192 formed on the inner surface of the interlocking tip 191 of the third interlocking unit 190 of the one square block 100 is inserted into the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 of the top surface of the main body unit 110 of the other square block 100 while the other protuberance 192 is inserted into the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 of the bottom surface of the main body unit 110 of the other square block 100 .
21 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 , further comprising a plurality of pentagonal blocks 200 wherein
the pentagonal block 200 includes:
a main body unit 210 that assumes the shape of a regular pentagonal prism with specific height;
a first interlocking unit 220 that is formed on one side of the outer surface of each side of the main body unit 210 ;
a second interlocking unit 230 that is formed on the other side of the outer surface of each side of the main body unit 210 ;
a plurality of vertical interlocking protuberances 240 that are formed on the top surface of the main body unit 210 ;
a plurality of vertical interlocking slots 250 that are formed on the bottom surface of the main body unit 210 ;
a plurality of cross axis inserting hole 260 that is formed at the center of the main body unit 210 ;
a plurality of interlocking unit inserting holes 270 formed in the main body unit 210 save for the cross axis inserting hole 260 ; and
a straight line slot 280 that is elongated inside the main body unit 210 along the edge of the main body unit 210 on the top surface and the bottom surface of the main body unit 210 .
22 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 21 wherein the first interlocking unit 220 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 221 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or pentagonal blocks 200 is inserted thereinto; slots 222 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 221 ; and protuberances 223 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 221 ; wherein the second interlocking unit 230 includes: an H-shaped interlocking tip 231 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 ; and protuberances 232 that are formed in a symmetrical way at the outer top end of each leaf of the H-shaped interlocking tip 231 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 21 wherein the first interlocking unit 220 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 221 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or pentagonal block 200 is inserted thereinto; slots 222 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 221 ; and protuberances 223 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 221 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 230 includes: an I-shaped interlocking tip 233 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 ; and protuberances 234 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the I-shaped interlocking tip 233 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 21 wherein the first interlocking unit 220 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 224 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or pentagonal blocks 200 is inserted thereinto; protuberances 225 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 224 ; and protuberances 226 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 224 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 230 includes: an I-shaped interlocking tip 235 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 and has an enneagonal unit 236 at the front end in the vertical direction; and slots 237 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the I-shaped interlocking tip 235 .
25 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 21 wherein the interlocking unit inserting holes 270 formed in the main body unit 210 save for the cross axis inserting hole 260 have a structure into which the interlocking tip 121 , 124 , 221 , 224 of the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 and the interlocking tip 131 , 133 , 135 , 231 , 233 , 235 of the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 are inserted at right angles and include a plurality of square inserting holes 271 into which the interlocking tip 121 , 124 , 221 , 224 of the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 is inserted and a plurality of X-shaped inserting holes 272 into which the interlocking tip 131 , 133 , 135 , 231 , 233 , 235 of the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 is inserted.
26 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 21 wherein the main body unit 210 includes, at the center of the outer surface of each side thereof, a third interlocking unit 290 which has an interlocking tip 291 , whose two leaves are extended with a gap in between so that a side of the main body unit 110 , 210 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 is inserted there into at right angles, wherein the interlocking tip 291 of the third interlocking unit 290 is shorter than the interlocking tip 221 , 224 , 231 , 235 of the first and second interlocking unit 220 , 230 and has protuberances 292 on its inner surface, wherein one of the protuberances 292 is formed in the top portion of the inner surface while the other is formed in the bottom portion of the inner surface; a side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 281 is formed on the straight line slot 280 , away from the center of the straight line slot 280 in one direction, of each side of the top surface of the main body unit 210 while the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 281 is formed on the straight line slot 280 , away from the center of the straight line slot 280 in the other direction, of each side of the bottom surface of the main body unit 210 ; and, when a side of the main body unit 210 of one of the pentagonal blocks 200 interlocks orthogonally with a side of the main body unit 110 , 210 of the other one of the square blocks 100 or the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 , one of the the protuberances 292 formed on the inner surface of the interlocking tip 291 of the third interlocking unit 290 of the one pentagonal block 200 is inserted into the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 , 281 of the top surface of the main body unit 110 , 210 of the other square block 100 or the other pentagonal block 200 while the other protuberance 292 is inserted into the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 , 281 of the bottom surface of the main body unit 110 , 210 of the other square block 100 or the other pentagonal block 200 .
27 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 15 , further comprising a plurality of triangular blocks 300 wherein the triangular block 300 includes:
a main body unit 310 that assumes the shape of a regular triangular prism with specific height;
a first interlocking unit 320 that is formed on one side of the outer surface of each side of the main body unit 310 ;
a second interlocking unit 330 that is formed on the other side of the outer surface of each side of the main body unit 310 ;
a plurality of vertical interlocking protuberances 340 that are formed on the top surface of the main body unit 310 ;
a plurality of vertical interlocking slots 350 that are formed on the bottom surface of the main body unit 310 ;
a cross axis inserting hole 360 that is formed at the center of the main body unit 310 ; and
a straight line slot 370 that is elongated inside the main body unit 310 along the edge of the main body unit 310 on the top surface and the bottom surface of the main body unit 310 .
28 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 27 wherein the first interlocking unit 320 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 321 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 , 330 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 is inserted thereinto; slots 322 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 321 ; and protuberances 323 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 321 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 330 includes: an H-shaped interlocking tip 331 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 , 320 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 ; and protuberances 332 that are formed in a symmetrical way at the outer top end of each leaf of the H-shaped interlocking tip 331 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 27 wherein the first interlocking unit 320 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 321 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 , 330 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 is inserted thereinto; slots 322 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 321 ; and protuberances 323 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 321 ; and wherein the second interlocking unit 330 includes: an I-shaped interlocking tip 333 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 , 320 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 ; and protuberances 334 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the I-shaped interlocking tip 333 .
30 . The self-assembly block toy set of claim 27 wherein the first interlocking unit 320 includes: a II-shaped interlocking tip 324 , whose leaves are extended in a symmetrical way with a gap in between so that the second interlocking unit 130 , 230 , 330 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 is inserted thereinto;
protuberances 325 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the inner wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 324 ; and
protuberances 326 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the II-shaped interlocking tip 324 ; and
wherein the second interlocking unit 230 includes:
an I-shaped interlocking tip 335 that is inserted into the first interlocking unit 120 , 220 , 320 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 and has an enneagonal unit 336 at the front end in the vertical direction; and
slots 337 that are formed in a symmetrical way on the outer wall of the I-shaped interlocking tip 335 .

The self-assembly block toy set of claim 27 wherein the main body unit 310 includes, at the center of the outer surface of each side thereof, a third interlocking unit 380 which has an interlocking tip 381 , whose two leaves are extended with a gap in between so that a side of the main body unit 110 , 210 , 310 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 is inserted thereinto at right angles, wherein the interlocking tip 381 of the third interlocking unit 380 is shorter than the interlocking tip 321 , 324 , 331 , 333 , 335 of the first and second interlocking unit 320 , 330 and has protuberances 382 on its inner surface, wherein one of the protuberances 382 is formed in the top portion of the inner surface while the other is formed in the bottom portion of the inner surface; a side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 371 is formed on the straight line slot 370 , away from the center of the straight line slot 370 in one direction, of each side of the top surface of the main body unit 310 while the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 371 is formed on the straight line slot 370 , away from the center of the straight line slot 370 in the other direction, of each side of the bottom surface of the main body unit 310 ; and, when a side of the main body unit 310 of one of the triangular blocks 300 interlocks orthogonally with a side of the main body unit 110 , 210 , 310 of the other one of the square blocks 100 , the other one of the pentagonal blocks 200 or the other one of the triangular blocks 300 , one of the the protuberances 382 formed on the inner surface of the interlocking tip 381 of the third interlocking unit 380 of the one triangular block 300 is inserted into the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 , 281 , 371 of the top surface of the main body unit 110 , 210 , 310 of the other square block 100 , the other pentagonal block or the other triangular block 300 while the other protuberance 382 is inserted into the side surface orthogonal interlocking slot 181 , 281 , 371 of the bottom surface of the main body unit 110 , 210 , 310 of the other square block 100 , the other pentagonal block 200 , or the other triangular block 300 .Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
