Blazer having removable arm pit section

Abstract

Described is a jacket having removable arm pit sections. The jacket includes removable fabric sections attached proximate the sleeve openings on an interior side of the jacket. The removable fabric sections are machine or hand washable such that the removable fabric sections can easily be removed, washed, and reattached to the jacket such that the entire jacket does not need to be dry cleaned as often.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A jacket comprising:
 a pair of removable fabric sections, wherein each removable fabric section is detachably attachable proximate a sleeve opening on an interior side of the jacket.   
     
     
         2 . The jacket as set forth in  claim 1 , further comprising at least one attachment mechanism proximate each sleeve opening for securing each removable fabric section. 
     
     
         3 . The jacket as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the at least one attachment mechanism is at least one of a button, a zipper, a magnet, a snap fastener, a hook and loop fastener, and a clasp and hook fastener. 
     
     
         4 . The jacket as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein each of the removable fabric sections comprises at least one attachment mechanism for securing the removable fabric section to the interior side of the jacket. 
     
     
         5 . The jacket as set forth in  claim 4 , wherein the at least one attachment mechanism is at least one of a button, a zipper, a magnet, a snap fastener, a hook and loop fastener, and a clasp and hook fastener. 
     
     
         6 . The jacket as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the pair of removable fabric sections are comprised of a washable material. 
     
     
         7 . The jacket as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein each removable fabric section extends a length of the jacket.
