Display system, display device, and relay device
Abstract
A reproduction signal output from a reproduction device is output via a relay device to two or more display devices including an excellent display device that is used by being mounted on the head of a user. A connection monitoring circuit in a front end box 40 monitors both a +5V signal of a source appliance that is HDMI-connected to an HDMI input unit 501, and an HPD signal of a sink appliance that is HDMI-connected to a second output unit 503 . Then, only when an HPD signal emitted by the HDMI sink appliance is detected together with a +5V signal emitted by the HDIM source appliance does the connection monitoring circuit in the front end box 40 enables a repeater function with respect to the HDMI sink appliance.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . A head mounted display comprising:
a mounting portion configured to mount to a head of a user; a mounting sensor configured to detect mounting of the mounting portion to the head of the user; and a display configured to display an image for a left eye of the user and an image for a right eye of the user, wherein in response to detection of mounting by the mounting sensor, the display displays the image for the left eye having a splash screen and displays the image for the right eye having a splash screen.
3 . The head mounted display of claim 2 , wherein the splash screen conveys to the user a sense of visual distance.
4 . The head mounted display of claim 2 , wherein the display is configured to display a reduced image which is reduced relative to a screen size for an original image and to display the splash screen outside the reduced image.
5 . The head mounted display of claim 2 , further comprising an operation unit configured to be used by the user to perform an operation input, and wherein the display is configured to display a black image when the operation unit designates for display an area outside an original image.
6 . The head mounted display of claim 2 , further comprising:
a signal processing unit configured to process image signals to be displayed by the display; and a control unit configured to control display driving of the display.
7 . An image processing apparatus comprising:
a circuit configured to:
obtain mounting information indicating whether or not a head mounted display is mounted on a user; and
control a displayed image for a left eye of the user and a displayed image for a right eye of the user which are displayed on the head mounted display,
wherein in response to detection of mounting of the head mounted display on the user control of the displayed image comprises control of the displayed image for the left eye having a splash screen and control of the displayed image for the right eye having a splash screen.
8 . The image processing apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the splash screen conveys to the user a sense of visual distance.
9 . The image processing apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the circuit is configured to control display of a reduced image which is reduced relative to a screen size for an original image and to control display of the splash screen outside the reduced image.
10 . The image processing apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the circuit is configured to obtain information from an operation unit configured to be used by the user to perform an operation input, and to control display of a black image when the operation unit designates for display an area outside an original image.
11 . The image processing apparatus of claim 7 , further comprising a signal processing unit configured to process image signals for display.
12 . The image processing apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the circuit is configured to:
control display of a second displayed image that is displayed on a second display which is not the head mounted display, and output images for display on the head mounted display in preference to the second displayed image.
13 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon computer-readable instructions for controlling a circuit of an image processing apparatus to:
obtain mounting information indicating whether or not a head mounted display is mounted on a user; and control a displayed image for a left eye of the user and a displayed image for a right eye of the user which are displayed on the head mounted display, wherein in response to detection of mounting of the head mounted display on the user control of the displayed image comprises control of the displayed image for the left eye having a splash screen and control of the displayed image for the right eye having a splash screen.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
