Light emitting device
Abstract
A light emitting device includes a flexible substrate, a light emitting element, a conductive connecting material, and a holding member. The flexible substrate includes a flexible base and a wire arranged on the flexible base. The light emitting element is mounted on the substrate. The conductive connecting material connects the light emitting element to the wire. The holding member surrounds a region on the substrate including the light emitting element and the conductive connecting material, on a surface of the substrate on which the light emitting element is mounted. The holding member is arranged adjacent to the wire. The holding member includes a first region arranged on an inner side of the holding member, and having higher rigidity than rigidity of the flexible base, and a second region arranged adjacent to the first region outside the first region, and having lower rigidity than rigidity of the first region.

4 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
an insulating member coating the wire is arranged on an upper surface of the substrate or a lower surface of the substrate.
5 . The light emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein
the first member is one of a metal, a resin material, and a composite member of the metal and the resin material.
6 . The light emitting device according claim 2 , wherein
the second member is a resin material.
7 . The light emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein
the second member has a slit.
8 . The light emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein
the second member has two or more different regions.
9 . The light emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein
the first member and the second member are joined together such that joining force between the first member and the second member is greater than joining force between the second member and the substrate.
10 . The light emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein
the first member has a lens shape.
11 . A light emitting device comprising:
a flexible substrate including a flexible base and a wire arranged on the flexible base; a light emitting element mounted on the substrate; a conductive connecting material connecting the light emitting element to the wire; and a holding member, wherein the holding member surrounds a region corresponding to a region on the substrate including the light emitting element and the conductive connecting material, on an opposite side surface to a surface of a side of the substrate on which the light emitting element is mounted, wherein the holding member is arranged adjacent to the wire, and wherein the holding member includes
a third region arranged on an inner side of the holding member, and having higher rigidity than rigidity of the flexible base, and
a fourth region arranged adjacent to the third region outside the third region, and having lower rigidity than rigidity of the third region.
12 . The light emitting device according to claim 11 , wherein
the third region includes a third member, and the fourth region includes a fourth member different from the third member.
13 . The light emitting device according to claim 12 , wherein
