Claims

Abstract

Provided is a touch panel-integrated organic light emitting display device. The touch panel-integrated organic light emitting display device includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate and a touch panel positioned between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The touch panel includes an array of first touch electrodes connected in a first direction under the upper substrate, an array of second touch electrodes, in a same plane as the first touch electrodes, connected in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction under the upper substrate, a plurality of connection electrodes connecting the second touch electrodes in the second direction, and at least one of the first and second touch electrodes includes a touch detection part and a floating part electrically isolated from the touch detection part.

         21 . A display comprising:
 a first touch electrode structure over a substrate; and   a second touch electrode structure having a capacitive relationship with the first touch electrode structure for detection of a touch input applied on the display,   wherein the first touch electrode structure and the second touch electrode structure are formed of metal lines that correspond to bank regions over the substrate.   
     
     
         22 . The display according to  claim 21 , wherein at least one among the first touch electrode structure and the second touch electrode structure has a mesh pattern. 
     
     
         23 . The display according to  claim 22 , wherein the first touch electrode structure and the second touch electrode structure are implemented with respect to an organic light emitting device, and
 wherein the bank regions are located between adjacent organic light emitting elements.   
     
     
         24 . The display according to  claim 21 , wherein the first touch electrode structure and the second touch electrode structure are formed of at least one material among molybdenum, aluminum, chromium, gold, titanium, nickel, neodymium, and copper, or alloys thereof. 
     
     
         25 . The display according to  claim 22 , wherein the first touch electrode structure includes a first sub-electrode and a second sub-electrode electrically connected to the first sub-electrode, and
 the second touch electrode structure includes a third sub-electrode and a fourth sub-electrode electrically connected to the third sub-electrode, and   wherein at least one among the first sub-electrode, the second sub-electrode, the third sub-electrode and the fourth sub-electrode includes a touch detection part and a floating part electrically isolated from the touch detection part.   
     
     
         26 . The display according to  claim 25 , wherein the floating part has a surface area that is 10% to 65% of a total surface area of the first touch electrode or the second touch electrode. 
     
     
         27 . The display according to  claim 25 , wherein the touch detection part of the third sub-electrode is divided at a first sub-intersection area and a second sub-intersection area which are connected by a connection electrode. 
     
     
         28 . The display according to  claim 27 , wherein the third sub-electrode and the connection electrode are formed of different materials. 
     
     
         29 . The display according to  claim 25 , wherein the floating part is electrically grounded. 
     
     
         30 . The display according to  claim 21 , wherein the substrate is a glass substrate, a plastic substrate or a substrate having flexibility. 
     
     
         31 . An apparatus comprising:
 a first line electrode over a substrate;   a second line electrode having a capacitive relationship with the first line electrode to detect a touch input over the substrate; and   organic light emitting elements between the substrate and at least one among the first line electrode and the second line electrode,   wherein the first line electrode and the second line electrode correspond to a region between the adjacent organic light emitting elements.   
     
     
         32 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the first line electrode and the second line electrode overlap with a bank layer that separates the organic light emitting elements. 
     
     
         33 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the first line electrode and the second line electrode are arranged in a mesh pattern. 
     
     
         34 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the first line electrode and the second line electrode are formed of metal comprising molybdenum, aluminum, chromium, gold, titanium, nickel, neodymium, copper, or alloys thereof. 
     
     
         35 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , further comprising
 a plurality of floating parts electrically disconnected to the first line electrode or the second line electrode; and   a plurality of touch detection parts surrounded by the floating parts or located outside of the floating parts.   
     
     
         36 . The apparatus according to  claim 35 , wherein an area defined along outlines of the floating parts is 10% to 65% of a total area defined along outlines of the first line electrode and the second line electrode. 
     
     
         37 . The apparatus according to  claim 35 , wherein the floating parts formed of metal line is arranged to correspond between the adjacent organic light emitting elements. 
     
     
         38 . The apparatus according to  claim 35 , wherein each of the plurality of the floating parts is formed of metal line in a mesh pattern. 
     
     
         39 . The apparatus according to  claim 35 , wherein the floating part is electrically grounded. 
     
     
         40 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the first line electrode and the second line electrode are part of a touch structure that is integrated into an organic light emitting display device.
