Abstract

A system and method for integrating customized content with the main content of a Web page where the customized content is generated after the main content has been loaded within a browser application of a client computer is disclosed. The system and method of the present invention maintains information relating to the main content of a Web page in a memory cache which is then used to locate offer content that is relevant to the main Web page content. The offer content may then be transmitted to the client computer where it is integrated with pre-loaded main content within a Web page.

 receiving, from the user computer, a request for web page content for presentation at the user computer; subsequent to receiving the request, transmitting, to the user computer, web document information comprising:
 a first portion comprising markup language that is usable by the user computer to render primary content of the web page, and
 a second portion that follows the first portion and comprises a script instructing the user computer to send a call to the computer system in response to the user computer loading the web document information to a predetermined level, wherein the predetermined level is based, in at least in part, on the rendering of the primary content;
   receiving a call transmitted from the user computer as instructed by the script, wherein the call comprises an indication that the primary content has loaded on the user computer to the predetermined level; in response to receiving the call from the user computer, analyzing personal information of a user of the user computer; determining, based at least in part on the analyzed personal information, secondary content of the web page to send to the user computer for loading; and sending additional information indicative of the determined secondary content to the user computer, wherein the additional information is usable by the user computer to render the secondary content such that the user is permitted to interact with the primary content while the secondary content is being loaded.

         30 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 29 , wherein the analyzing comprises:
 analyzing previous purchases made by the user as indicated in the personal information of the user; and based on a result of analyzing the previous purchases, determining one or more parameters associated with a purchasing behavior of the user, wherein the determining the secondary content is based the one or more parameters.

         31 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 29 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 in response to receiving the request, determining one or more preferred sellers for the user by analyzing previous transactions included in the personal information; and wherein determining the secondary content is based on an identity of at least one of the one or more preferred sellers.

         32 . The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 29 , wherein the analyzing comprises:
