Systems and methods for producing personalized health recommendation data

Abstract

Disclosed in some examples is a method including the operations of receiving responses for a plurality of assessments for an individual, the responses including responses for assessments of at least one physical and at least one psychological component of the individual's wellness; calculating numerical indicators for a plurality of wellness components for the individual based on the plurality of responses; determine at least one set of rules based upon an organization that the individual is associated with; determine a wellness recommendation based upon the set of rules and the numerical indicators; and presenting the wellness recommendation to the individual.

         25 . A computer-implemented system comprising:
 a processor configured to execute instructions provided from a plurality of software modules, the plurality of software modules including:
 a recommendation software module configured to generate a personalized recommendation based on at least one assessment for an individual; and 
 an engagement software module configured to:
 receive a recommendation compliance confirmation in response to the recommendation, the recommendation compliance confirmation indicating that the individual participated in an activity associated with the personalized recommendation; 
 allocate a plurality of incentive points to the individual based on the recommendation compliance confirmation; 
 present an indication of the allocation of the plurality of incentive points on an individual's electronic device in response to allocating the plurality of incentive points.

The system of  claim 25 , the engagement software module further to allocate a financial reward based on an application of a set of incentive rules to the allocated plurality of incentive points, the incentive rules determined by an organization associated with the individual.

The system of  claim 26 , wherein the financial reward includes at least one of a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) contribution, a Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution, a Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association (VEBA) contribution, a cash equivalent payment, and a debit card payment. 
     
     
         28 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein the generation of the personalized recommendation is based on an application of a set of recommendation rules, the recommendation rules determined by an organization associated with the individual. 
     
     
         29 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein:
 the personalized recommendation is associated with a recommendation category; and   the generation of the personalized recommendation includes increasing a recommendation category point total associated with the recommendation category.   
     
     
         30 . The system of  claim 29 , wherein:
 the recommendation category has an associated recommendation category point maximum; and   the allocation of the plurality of incentive points is limited when the recommendation category point total meets the recommendation category point maximum to promote a recommendation category balance.   
     
     
         31 . The system of  claim 29 , wherein the recommendation category includes at least one of a financial category, a people category, a jobs category, and a health category. 
     
     
         32 . The system of  claim 25 , the engagement software module further configured to present the recommendation on the individual's electronic device, wherein the recommendation compliance confirmation includes a self-reported compliance received from an individual's electronic device. 
     
     
         33 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein the recommendation compliance confirmation is received from a third party. 
     
     
         34 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein the recommendation compliance confirmation is received from a device sensor within the individual's electronic device. 
     
     
         35 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein the assessment includes a physical assessment. 
     
     
         36 . The system of  claim 35 , wherein the physical assessment includes a biometric assessment. 
     
     
         37 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein the assessment further includes a psychological assessment. 
     
     
         38 . The system of  claim 25 , wherein the assessment includes a plurality of assessment responses received from the individual. 
     
     
         39 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 using one or more computer processors to perform the operations of:
 generating a personalized recommendation based on at least one assessment for an individual; 
 receiving a recommendation compliance confirmation in response to the recommendation, the recommendation compliance confirmation indicating that the individual participated in an activity associated with the personalized recommendation; 
 allocating a plurality of incentive points to the individual based on the recommendation compliance confirmation; 
 presenting an indication of the allocation of the plurality of incentive on an individual's electronic device in response to allocating the plurality of incentive points. 
   
     
     
         40 . The method of  claim 39 , further including allocating a financial reward based on an application of a set of incentive rules to the allocated plurality of incentive points, the incentive rules determined by an organization associated with the individual. 
     
     
         41 . The method of  claim 39 , the operations further including presenting the recommendation on the individual's electronic device, wherein the recommendation compliance confirmation includes a self-reported compliance received from the individual's electronic device. 
     
     
         42 . At least one machine-readable storage medium, comprising a plurality of instructions that, responsive to being executed with processor circuitry of a computer-controlled device, cause the computer-controlled device to:
 generate a personalized recommendation based on at least one assessment for an individual;   receive a recommendation compliance confirmation in response to the recommendation, the recommendation compliance confirmation indicating that the individual participated in an activity associated with the personalized recommendation;   allocate a plurality of incentive points to the individual based on the recommendation compliance confirmation;   present an indication of the allocation of the plurality of incentive points on an individual's electronic device in response to allocating the plurality of incentive points.

The machine-readable storage medium of  claim 42 , the instructions further causing the computer-controlled device to allocate a financial reward based on an application of a set of incentive rules to the allocated plurality of incentive points, the incentive rules determined by an organization associated with the individual. 
     
     
         44 . The machine-readable storage medium of  claim 42 , wherein the generation of the personalized recommendation is based on an application of a set of recommendation rules, the recommendation rules determined by an organization associated with the individual. 
     
     
         45 . The machine-readable storage medium of  claim 42 , wherein:
 the personalized recommendation is associated with a recommendation category; and   the generation of the personalized recommendation includes increasing a recommendation category point total associated with the recommendation category.   
     
     
         46 . The machine-readable storage medium of  claim 45 , wherein:
 the recommendation category has an associated recommendation category point maximum; and   the allocation of the plurality of incentive points is limited when the recommendation category point total meets the recommendation category point maximum to promote a recommendation category balance.   
     
     
         47 . The machine-readable storage medium of  claim 45 , wherein the recommendation category includes at least one of a financial category, a people category, a jobs category, and a health category.

The machine-readable storage medium of  claim 42 , the instructions further causing the computer-controlled device to present the recommendation on the individual's electronic device, wherein the recommendation compliance confirmation includes a self-reported compliance received from the individual's electronic device.
