Method of processing received digitized signals and mobile radio communication terminal device
Abstract
A method for performing a mobile radio cell search may include receiving one or more wireless signals from one or more mobile radio cells as part of a first partial mobile radio cell search; determining a reliability metric and a mobile radio cell detection occurrence count for each of the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more received wireless signals; and performing a second partial mobile radio cell search for one or more mobile radio cells having a reliability metric or mobile radio cell detection occurrence count that satisfies a predefined condition. Alternatively, a method for performing a mobile radio cell search may include performing a second partial mobile radio cell search only for mobile radio cells having a reliability metric that satisfies a predefined condition
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A mobile radio communication terminal device comprising:
a receiver configured to receive one or more wireless signals from one or more mobile radio cells; and a circuit configured to determine a synchronization signal quality for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals and configured to evaluate one or more of the mobile radio cells when the synchronization signal quality is above a threshold.
22 . The mobile radio communication device of claim 21 , wherein the duration of the determination by the first circuit is shorter than the duration of the evaluation performed by the second circuit.
23 . The mobile radio communication device of claim 21 , wherein the first circuit is further configured to determine a cell identity information for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals.
24 . A method for selecting a mobile radio cell, the method comprising:
receiving one or more wireless signals from one or more mobile radio cells; determining a synchronization signal quality for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals; and evaluating one or more of the mobile radio cells when the synchronization signal quality is above a threshold.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the duration of the determining of the synchronization signal quality is shorter than the duration of the evaluation.
26 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising determining a cell identity information for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals before the evaluation.
27 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, which, when executed by a processor, make the processor perform the following:
receiving one or more wireless signals from one or more mobile radio cells; determining a synchronization signal quality for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals; and evaluating one or more of the mobile radio cells when the synchronization signal quality is above a threshold.
28 . The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the duration of the determining of the synchronization signal quality is shorter than the duration of the evaluation.
29 . The computer-readable medium of claim 27 , the method further comprising determining a cell identity information for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals before the evaluation.
30 . A mobile radio communication terminal device comprising:
receiving means for receiving one or more wireless signals from one or more mobile radio cells; determining means for determining a synchronization signal quality for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals; and evaluating means for evaluating a mobile radio cell when its synchronization signal quality is above a threshold.
31 . The mobile radio communication device of claim 30 , wherein the duration of the determination by the first circuit is shorter than the duration of the evaluation performed by the second circuit.
32 . The mobile radio communication device of claim 30 , further comprising identity determining means for determining a cell identity information for the one or more mobile radio cells based on the one or more wireless signals.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
