Abstract
A portable telephone is equipped with a camera and includes an image sensor that is included in the camera and that outputs image data. The portable telephone also includes a processor configured to: (i) associate the image data with position information denoting a position at which the image data is output by the image sensor; (ii) control storage of the image data to a storage medium; (iii) select the image data related to the position information in the storage medium; (iv) acquire information indicating a map based on the position information related to the selected image data; and (v) create textual content to be sent to a destination based on the position information. The portable telephone further includes a communication circuit that sends the textual content, the image data and the information indicating the map to the destination.

an image sensor that is included in the camera and that outputs image data; a processor configured to:
associate the image data with position information denoting a position at which the image data is output by the image sensor;
control storage of the image data to a storage medium;
select the image data related to the position information in the storage medium;
acquire information indicating a map based on the position information related to the selected image data; and
create textual content to be sent to a destination based on the position information; and
a communication circuit that sends the textual content, the image data and the information indicating the map to the destination.
2 . The portable telephone according to claim 1 , wherein
the processor is further configured to edit the textual content by operation of a user of the portable telephone.
3 . The portable telephone according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a display that displays the textual content created by the processor and an image based on the image data.
4 . The portable telephone according to claim 3 , wherein:
the display displays a plurality of addresses as destinations of the textual content set by a user; and the communication circuit sends the textual content to the plurality of addresses as the destinations.
5 . A method involving a portable telephone equipped with a camera, the method comprising:
outputting image data by an image sensor of the camera; associating the image data with position information denoting a position at which the image data is output by the image sensor; storing the image data; selecting the image data related to the position information; acquiring information indicating a map based on the position information related to the selected image data; creating textual content to be sent to a destination based on the position information; and sending the textual content, the image data and the information indicating the map to the destination.
6 . A non-transitory computer readable medium having an executable control program stored therein, the control program causing a processor of a portable telephone equipped with a camera to perform a process comprising:
outputting image data by an image sensor of the camera; associating the image data with position information denoting a position at which the image data is output by the image sensor; storing the image data; selecting the image data related to the position information; acquiring information indicating a map based on the position information related to the selected image data; creating textual content to be sent to a destination based on the position information; and sending the textual content, the image data and the information indicating the map to the destination.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
