Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a system, method, and device for providing an application service, including: a first access network device is connected to a first application server through a first interface, and the first application server is configured to process an application request received from the first access network device, where the application request is received by the first access network device from a user equipment. According to the embodiments of the present invention, an application server is deployed on a radio access network side, and the application server is capable of adjusting network sending scheduling according to a network environment, which can guarantee sending of service content and improve user experience.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for providing an application service, the system comprising:
 a first access network device, a core network device and a first application server, wherein: the first access network device is a base station or a base station controller;   a first interface exists between the first access network device and the first application server;   a second interface exists between the first application server and the core network device;   a third interface exists between the first access network device and the core network device;   the first application server is configured to receive, through the first interface, a first application request and a second application request sent by the first access network device, wherein the two application requests are received by the first access network device from a user equipment;   wherein in a case in which the first application server is further configured to determine to process an application service corresponding to the first application request, the first application server is configured to determine a first application response according to the first application request, wherein the first application response is corresponding to the application service; and   wherein in a case in which the first application server is further configured to determine not to process the application service corresponding to the second application request, the first application server is further configured to send the second application request to the core network device to process it.   
     
     
         2 . The system according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a second access network device; and   a first interface exists between the first application server and the second access network device.   
     
     
         3 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the first access network device is further configured to determine, according to an offload policy, a target device to which the two application requests are to be sent, wherein the target device is the first application server.   
     
     
         4 . The system according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a second application server;   a fourth interface exists between the first application server and the second application server; and   a fifth interface exists between the second application server and the core network device.   
     
     
         5 . The system according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 a second access network device and a third application server; and   a sixth interface exists between the first application server and the third application server, a first interface exists between the third application server and the second access network device, and a fourth interface exists between the third application server and the second application server.   
     
     
         6 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the core network device is configured to:
 send the second application request to a service provider for determining an application response according to the second application request; and   receive the second application response sent by the service provider, and send the second application response to the first application server.   
     
     
         7 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the core network device is configured to:
 send the second application request to a service provider to enable the service provider to determine a second application response according to the second application request, wherein the second application response is corresponding to the application service;   receive the second application response sent by the service provider; and   send the second application response to the first application server.   
     
     
         8 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the first application server is further configured to:
 determine a guarantee message according to the application response and a network environment for instructing the first access network device to guarantee sending of the application response, and 
 send the application response and the guarantee message to the first access network device; and 
   the first access network device is configured to send the application response to the user equipment according to the guarantee message; and   a network state is restored in a case in which the first application server and the first access network device complete sending of the application response.   
     
     
         9 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 when the first application server is connected to the core network device, the first application server is further configured to perform General Packet Radio Service GPRS Tunneling Protocol-User plane (GTP-U) decapsulation on received information to process the received information, wherein the received information comprises the application request; and   the first application server is further configured to perform GTP-U encapsulation on sent information to transmit the sent information in a transmission medium, wherein the sent information comprises one or more pieces of the following information: the application request, the application response, and the guarantee message.   
     
     
         10 . The system according to  claim 1 , wherein the first application server is further configured to perform charging or interception. 
     
     
         11 . An application server, comprising:
 a transceiver configured to:
 receive a first application request and a second application request sent by a first access network device, wherein the two application requests are received by the first access network device from a user equipment; and 
   a processor configured to:
 determine whether to process a first application service corresponding to the first application request and determine whether to process a second application service corresponding to the second application request, 
 when it is determined to process the application service corresponding to the first application request, determine a first application response according to the first application request, and 
 when it is determined not to process the application service corresponding to the second application request, send the second application request to a core network device for processing.
