Nursing Garment

Abstract

Disclosed is a wearable garment for nursing. The garment includes a back body member, a left panel, and a right panel. The back body member includes a left portion, a right portion, and plurality of fastenings. The left panel attached with the back body member from the left portion of the back body member. The right panel attached with the back body member from the right portion of the back body member. The left panel and the right panel cross over each other in order to enable a user to nurse a baby. The fastenings are placed over a shoulder of the left panel and the right panel for affixing the left panel to the right panel or affixing the right panel to the left panel so that the panels are secured over a user's shoulders.

1 . A wearable garment for nursing, the garment comprising:
 a back body member including a left portion and a right portion;   a left panel attached to the back body member at the left portion of the back body member;   a right panel attached to the back body member at the right portion of the back body member, wherein the left panel and the right panel overlap each other when the wearable garment is donned, in order to enable a user to nurse a baby;   a first fastener located proximate a shoulder of the left panel and a mating second fastener located on the right portion of the back body member; and   a third fastener located proximate another shoulder of the right panel and a mating fourth fastener located on the left portion of the back member, whereby
 at least one of the right panel and the left panel may be selectively fastened in place to cover a nursing baby. 
   
     
     
         2 . The wearable garment according to  claim 1  wherein the plurality of fasteners comprise a plurality of buttons, wherein a first button is located inside the left shoulder of the user, and a second button is located inside the left shoulder of the user. 
     
     
         3 . The wearable garment according to  claim 1 , further including a plurality of loop holes enabling the user to adjust selectively looseness of fit of the left panel and the right panel, in order to provide access for the baby to a user's breast for nursing. 
     
     
         4 . The wearable garment according to  claim 1 , further comprising a first pocket positioned on the left panel. 
     
     
         5 . The wearable garment according to  claim 1 , further comprising a second pocket positioned on the right panel. 
     
     
         6 . The wearable garment according to  claim 1 , further comprising a hood detachably attached with the back panel. 
     
     
         7 . The wearable garment according to  claim 1 , further comprising at least one sleeve.
