Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What we claim is:

1 . A multicomponent hair piece wherein each component can be selectively combined to give a fuller appearance to the hair piece, comprising:
 a. a crown component having a transverse brow net extending forwardly from a weave base, said weave base having margin including opposing temple portions and a connecting rear portion distal the transverse brow net, said weave base attached to said brow net and defining a part line extending rearwardly from said brow net, said weave base having a plurality of hair fibers attached thereto; b. at least one filler component, detachably affixed to said connecting rear portion, having a filler weave base co-extensive with the connecting rear portion and extending perpendicular thereto to a transverse rear portion, said filler weave base having a plurality of hair fibers attached thereto.

2 . A multicomponent hair piece as defined in claim 1 further comprising a terminal filler component, detachably affixed to said at least one filler component along said transverse rear portion, comprising a terminal weave base co-extensive with said transverse rear portion and extending perpendicular thereto to a nape portion, said terminal weave base having a plurality of hair fibers attached thereto.

3 . A multicomponent hair piece as defined in claim 1 wherein said crown component includes at least one fastener positioned along said connecting rear portion selectively engageable with at least one fastener positioned along said filler weave base.

4 . A multicomponent hair piece as defined in claim 3 , wherein said at least one filler component includes at least one fastener positioned along said transverse rear portion selectively engageable with at least one fastener positioned on a terminal filler component, comprising a terminal weave base co-extensive with said transverse rear portion and extending perpendicular thereto to a nape portion, said terminal weave base having a plurality of hair fibers attached thereto.

5 . A multicomponent hair piece as defined in claim 4 wherein said at least one fastener comprises a plurality of snap fasteners having a female snap member and a male snap member carried by a respective connecting rear portion, transverse rear portion and terminal filler component for cooperative attachment and detachment of said components therewith.

6 . A multicomponent hair piece as defined in claim 4 wherein said at least one fastener comprises a strip of hook and pile fastener material cooperatively carried by a respective connecting rear portion, transverse rear portion and terminal filler component for cooperative attachment and detachment of said components therewith.

7 . A multicomponent hair piece as defined in claim 4 wherein said at least one fastener comprises zipper cooperatively carried by a respective connecting rear portion, transverse rear portion and terminal filler component for cooperative attachment and detachment of said components therewith.

8 . A multicomponent hairpiece as defined in claim 4 wherein the hair strands of at least one component are different in color from the hair strands of the other component.
