Device For Inflating Multiple Balloons Simultaneously
Abstract
A user may utilize the herein disclosed device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously to advantageously inflate multiple balloons quickly and efficiently. The herein disclosed device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously comprises a base for fitting onto an air blower, a plurality of air tubes for directing air into multiple pre-tied balloons, and a slide plate for retaining the plurality of air tubes during inflation. The slide plate also functions to facilitate cutting off one or more of the air tubes during inflation, so that a user may determine whether one or more of the balloons has reached a desired inflation level prior to the remaining balloons reaching the desired inflation level, and thereby utilize the slide plate to cut off the flow of air to the one or more balloons that have more quickly reached the desired inflation level. The slide plate further functions to slide along the length of the air tubes, so that once all the balloons have reached the desired inflation level, the slide plate may force the balloons off the air tubes. Once forced off the air tubes, the balloons may seal themselves via pre-tied tie-bands, and thus are ready for immediate use.

1 . A device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously, comprising:
a base for fitting onto an air blower, wherein the base includes a check valve and a base manifold forming a plurality of manifold apertures for receiving a plurality of air tubes; the plurality of air tubes for directing air into the multiple pre-tied balloons, wherein the plurality of air tubes includes a first set of air tubes having a first length and a second set of air tubes having a second length; and a slide plate for retaining the plurality of air tubes during inflation, for facilitating cutting off one or more air tubes of the plurality of air tubes during inflation, and for sliding along the plurality of air tubes to force the multiple pre-tied balloons off the plurality of air tubes after inflation.
2 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 1 , wherein the check valve allows air to flow from the air blower and through the base into the air tubes, but the check value does not allow air to flow out of the air tubes and back into the base.
3 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 1 , wherein the base manifold forms eight manifold apertures.
4 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 3 , wherein the plurality of manifold apertures includes a first set of manifold apertures at a first radial distance and a second set of manifold apertures at a second radial distance.

The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 1 , wherein the multiple pre-tied balloons have been pre-tied onto the plurality of air tubes so that one pre-tied balloon is pre-tied onto each air tube of the plurality of air tubes with a tie-band so that when the multiple pre-tied balloons are forced off the plurality of air tubes with the slide plate, each of the multiple pre-tied balloons seals itself for use with the tie-band.
5 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 1 , further comprising an adaptor attachment for fitting the base onto a gas tank.

The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 1 , wherein the slide plate forms a plurality of slide plate apertures for receiving the plurality of air tubes to retain the plurality of air tubes during inflation, and wherein the slide plate further forms one or more cut-off apertures having a cut-out running from the aperture to the outside of slide plate 6 .
7 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 6 , wherein the one or more cut-off apertures are formed at a greater radial distance than the plurality of slide plate apertures.
8 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 6 , wherein each of the plurality of slide plate apertures have a diameter greater than a diameter of each of the plurality of air tubes.
9 . The device for inflating multiple pre-tied balloons simultaneously as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first length is less than the second length.
10 . A device for inflating multiple balloons simultaneously, comprising:
a base for fitting onto an air blower, wherein the base includes a check valve and a base manifold forming a plurality of holes for receiving a plurality of air tubes; the plurality of air tubes, wherein the plurality of air tubes includes a first set of air tubes having a first length and a second set of air tubes having a second length; and a slide plate for retaining the plurality of air tubes during inflation, for facilitating cutting off one or more air tubes of the plurality of air tubes during inflation, and for sliding along the plurality of air tubes to force the multiple balloons off the plurality of air tubes after inflation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
