Identification by sound data
Abstract
Technologies are generally described for systems, devices and methods effective to identify an individual. In some examples, a microphone may receive sound data such as sound that may be present in a mall. A processor, that may be in communication with the microphone, may determine a name from the sound data. Stated differently, the processor may determine that the name is part of or included in the sound data. The processor may generate a query based on the name and may send the query to a social network database. The processor may receive a response to the query from the social network database and may identify the individual based on the response.
Claims

1 . A method to deliver individual specific content by identification of individuals, the method comprising:
receiving, by a processor configured to be in communication with a microphone, sound data from the microphone, wherein the sound data corresponds to a voice of at least one individual; segregating, by the processor, the sound data to determine voice data related to the voice of the at least one individual; identifying, by the processor from the sound data, a first name of each of the at least one individual; generating, by the processor, a query based on the first name or a location of the at least one individual; sending, by the processor and via a communication network, the query to a database; receiving, by the processor and via the communication network, a response to the query from the database; identifying, by the processor based on the response from the database, an individual that corresponds to the name of one of the at least one individual; identifying, by the processor in association with the database, individual-specific content that corresponds to the identified individual; and sending, by the processor, the individual specific content to a device associated with the identified individual.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the sound data includes receiving the sound data from a microphone of at least one mobile device.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the first name of each of the at least one individual includes performing speech recognition on the sound data.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising filtering the first name of each of the at least one individual against a list of names prior to the generation of the query.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein segregating the sound data comprises:
converting the sound data into text; separating the text into words; and separating one or more names from the words.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein separating the one or more names from the words comprises:
identifying the one or names from the words; and removing, at least one name from the identified one or more names, by comparing the identified one or more names to a list of names, wherein the list of names includes a specific list of individual names that is different from names of each of the at least one individual.
7 . A method to deliver individual specific content by identification of a social group that includes at least a first individual and a second individual, the method comprising, by a processor:
receiving first sound data from a first microphone that is located at a first location, wherein the first sound data relates to a first voice and a second voice; segregating the first sound data to determine voice data related to the first voice and the second voice; receiving second sound data from a second microphone that is located at a second location, wherein the second sound data relates to the first voice and the second voice; determining a first name of the first individual that corresponds to the first voice; determining a second name of the second individual that corresponds to the second voice; grouping, based on an analysis of the first location and the second location, the first voice and the second voice, of the first sound data, into a group; generating a query based on at least one of the first name, the second name, the first location, and the second location; sending, via a communication network, the query to a database; receiving, via the communication network, a response to the query from the database; identifying, based on the response from the database, that the first individual and the second individual are in the social group; identifying advertising content that corresponds to interests of one of the first individual and the second individual of the group; and sending the advertising content to a device associated with one or more of the first individual and the second individual of the group.
8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein:
segregating the first sound data includes performing speaker diarization on the first sound data to identify the voice data, which is associated with the first individual and the second individual, and the method further comprises:
assigning a first identification number to the first voice in the voice data;
assigning a second identification number to the second voice in the voice data; and
storing, in a memory, the first identification number, the second identification number, and the voice data.
9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein:
receiving the first sound data comprises receiving the first sound data from the first microphone at a first time, receiving the second sound data comprises receiving the second sound data from the second microphone at a second time, wherein the second time is different from the first time, and grouping the first voice and the second voice comprises grouping the first voice and the second voice into the group based on an analysis of the first time and the second time.
10 . A system configured to deliver individual specific content by identification of individuals, the system comprising:
a microphone configured to generate sound data; and a processor configured to be in communication with the microphone and a database, wherein the processor is configured to:
receive the sound data from the microphone, wherein the sound data corresponds to a voice of at least one individual;
segregate the sound data to determine voice data related to the voice of the at least one individual;
identify, from the sound data, a name of the at least one individual;
generate a query based on the name or a location of the at least one individual;
send, via a communication network, the query to the database;
receive, via the communication network, a response to the query from the database;
identify, based on the response from the database, an individual that corresponds to the name of the at least one individual;
identify individual specific content that corresponds to the identified individual; and
sending the individual specific content to a device associated with the identified individual.
