Concentrate filled bov container apparatus and method
Abstract
A dispenser platform for receiving a product container, having a casing, wholly or partially encasing a control panel coupled a control module and a product container receptacle having a product container coupling assembly. The product container coupling assembly includes a first product supply conduit configured to receive a barrel of a product container. A second product supply conduit couples to a reservoir or to a supply of a second product, such as water. The product container holds a first product, such as concentrated coffee, concentrated tea, concentrated flavored drink, flavored syrup (cola) or concentrated juice. Components of the dispenser platform include a pump assembly, a heating and/or cooling assembly responsively coupled to a control panel via a control module and a filter assembly. The product container can be a BOV container or an airless dispensing container.

1 . A product container, comprising a bag on valve (BOV) within a sealed canister, the BOV having contained therein a product concentrate.
2 . The product container of claim 1 , wherein the product concentrate is one selected from the group consisting of a concentrated coffee, concentrated tea, concentrated flavored drink, flavored syrup (e.g., cola) and concentrated juice.
3 . The product container of claim 1 , further comprising the product container having a barrel configured to be received by a dispenser platform.
4 . The product container of claim 1 , further comprising:
a cup proximate the top of the sealed canister; the barrel flexibly coupled to the cup, the cup rigidly coupled to the sealed canister; a valve assembly having an outlet, the outlet directly or indirectly coupled to and in communication with the barrel and a valve assembly inlet; the BOV further comprising a substantially impervious BOV bag, the BOV bag having a BOV bag outlet in communication with the interior of the BOV bag; and a conduit forming a pathway from the bag outlet, and hence the interior of the bag, to the valve assembly inlet.
5 . The product container of claim 4 , wherein a propellant is included inside the canister and substantially surrounding the exterior of the BOV bag.
6 . The product container of claim 5 , wherein the propellant comprises one from the group consisting of compressed air and nitrogen.
7 . The product container of claim 1 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated coffee.
8 . The product container of claim 1 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated tea.
9 . The product container of claim 1 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated flavored drink.
10 . The product container of claim 1 , wherein the product concentrate is flavored syrup (cola).
11 . The product container of claim 1 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated juice.
12 . A product container, comprising a bag on valve (BOV) within a sealed canister, the BOV having contained therein a product concentrate; and
a pressurized propellant inside the sealed canister and substantially surrounding the exterior of the BOV bag wherein the propellant is compressed air or nitrogen
13 . The product container of claim 12 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated coffee.
14 . The product container of claim 12 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated tea.
15 . The product container of claim 12 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated flavored drink.
18 . The product container of claim 12 , wherein the product concentrate is flavored syrup (cola).
17 . The product container of claim 12 , wherein the product concentrate is concentrated juice.
18 . A process of providing a concentrated product for use with a dispenser platform, comprising the steps of:
injecting a concentrated product into a bag on valve (BOV); placing the BOV into a canister; providing a conduit via a valve into the canister; sealing the canister; and injecting the canister with a propellant through the valve via the conduit.
19 . The process of claim 18 , wherein the sealing of the canister comprises the step of crimping a cup having an aerosol valve assembly onto the canister.
20 . The process of claim 18 , wherein the product concentrate is one selected from the group consisting of a concentrated coffee, concentrated tea, concentrated flavored drink, flavored syrup (e.g., cola) and concentrated juice.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
