Abstract
A system may receive a request for user data associated with a user account, transmit the user data in response to the request, and receive an authorization request for a transaction from a merchant device. The authorization request may include transaction data and an item identifier. The system may also approve the transaction in response to a user account having sufficient funds available and store the transaction data and the item identifier in association with the user account.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a server, a request for user data associated with a user account; transmitting, by the server, the user data to a merchant device in response to the request for the user data; receiving, by the server, an authorization request for a transaction from the merchant device, wherein the authorization request includes transaction data and an item identifier; approving, by the server, the transaction in response to the user account having sufficient funds available; and storing, by the server, the transaction data and the item identifier associated with the user account.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein e item identifier includes a stock keeping unit (SKU).
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the request for the user data comprises an application programming interface (API) call.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the user account is an argument in the API call.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the server stores the transaction data and the item identifier in a ledger.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the ledger is stored in a database with the user account as a key.
7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the ledger comprises entries for user accounts and merchant accounts payable.
8 . A method comprising:
detecting, by a merchant device, a user device within a predetermined distance of the merchant device; transmitting, by the merchant device, a request for user data associated with the user device; generating, by the merchant device, content based at least partially on the user data associated with the user device, wherein the user data comprises a first item identifier; transmitting, by the merchant device, the content to the user device; and transmitting, by the merchant device, an authorization request to a server, wherein the authorization request includes transaction data.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the first item identifier comprises a SKU associated with a previous transaction of the user device.
10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the authorization request includes a second item identifier.
11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the detecting the user device includes detecting, by the merchant device, a BLE broadcast from the user device.
12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the content includes an offer generated based at least partially on the first item identifier.
13 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising broadcasting, by a BLE beacon in communication with the merchant device, a UUID for communication with the user device.
14 . A computer-based system, comprising:
a processor; a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the processor, the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising: receiving, by a server, a request for user data associated with a user account; transmitting, by the server, the user data to a merchant device in response to the request for the user data; receiving, by the server, an authorization request for a transaction from the merchant device, wherein the authorization request includes transaction data and an item identifier; approving, by the server, the transaction in response to the user account having sufficient funds available; and storing, by the server, the transaction data and the item identifier associated with the user account.
15 . The computer-based system of claim 14 , wherein the item identifier includes a stock keeping unit (SKU).
16 . The computer-based system of claim 15 , wherein the request for the user data comprises an application programming interface (API) call.
17 . The computer-based system of claim 16 , wherein the user account is an argument in the API call.
18 . The computer-based system of claim 17 , wherein the server stores the transaction data and the item identifier in a ledger.
19 . The computer-based system of claim 18 , wherein the ledger is stored in a database with the user account as a key.
20 . The computer-based system of claim 18 , wherein the ledger comprises entries for user accounts and merchant accounts payable.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
