Image display device, image display method, and recording medium

Abstract

Provided is an image display device used by being mounted to a head or a face of a user, including a first display unit that displays an internal image seen from a side of the user, a second display unit that displays an external image seen from outside the image display device, and a control unit that controls display of the internal image and the external image.

1 . An image control device, comprising:
 an image generating unit configured to generate a user image based on information related to a status of a user, wherein the user image is related to the user who mounts a display device to one of a head or a face of the user; and   a control unit configured to control a display of the user image generated by the image generating unit.   
     
     
         2 . The image control device according to  claim 1 , wherein the user image is different from an internal image that is displayed on a user side of the display device. 
     
     
         3 . The image control device according to  claim 1 , wherein the control unit is further configured to control the display of the user image for a person different from the user. 
     
     
         4 . The image control device according to  claim 1 , wherein the image generating unit is further configured to generate the user image based on at least one of an eyelid status or a gaze direction of the user. 
     
     
         5 . The image control device according to  claim 1 , wherein the image generating unit is further configured to generate the user image based on sensor information received from the display device. 
     
     
         6 . The image control device according to  claim 2 , wherein the control unit is further configured to control a display of at least one of a first image that is same as the internal image, a second image that is different from the internal image, information related to a surrounding environment, or the status of the user to be displayed as the user image. 
     
     
         7 . The image control device according to  claim 2 , wherein the control unit is further configured to control the display of the user image on the display device as the internal image. 
     
     
         8 . The image control device according to  claim 1 , wherein the control unit is further configured to control the display of the user image based on a surrounding environment of the user. 
     
     
         9 . The image control device according to  claim 1 , wherein the control unit is further configured to control the display of the user image based on content information of the display device. 
     
     
         10 . An image controlling method, comprising,
 generating a user image based on information related to a status of a user, wherein the user image is related to the user who mounts a display device to one of a head or a face of the user; and   controlling a display of the user image.   
     
     
         11 . The image controlling method according to  claim 10 , wherein the user image is different from an internal image displayed on a user side of the display device. 
     
     
         12 . The image controlling method according to  claim 10 , further comprising controlling the display of the user image for a person different from the user. 
     
     
         13 . The image controlling method according to  claim 10 , further comprising generating the user image based on at least one of an eyelid status or a gaze direction of the user. 
     
     
         14 . The image controlling method according to  claim 10 , further comprising generating the user image based on sensor information received from the display device. 
     
     
         15 . The image controlling method according to  claim 11 , further comprising controlling a display of at least one of a first image that is same as the internal image, a second image that is different from the internal image, information related to a surrounding environment, or the status of the user to be displayed as the user image. 
     
     
         16 . The image controlling method according to  claim 11 , further comprising controlling the display of the user image on the display device as the internal image. 
     
     
         17 . The image controlling method according to  claim 10 , further comprising controlling the display of the user image based on a surrounding environment of the user. 
     
     
         18 . The image controlling method according to  claim 10 , further comprising controlling the display of the user image based on content information of the display device. 
     
     
         19 . An image control device, comprising:
 an image generating unit configured to generate a user image based on information related to a status of a user,
 wherein the user image is related to the user who mounts a display device to one of a head or a face of the user, and 
   
       wherein the user image is a different from an internal image displayed on a user side of the display device.
