Profiled rail system for covering the end of a flooring

Abstract

A profiled rail system ( 1 ) for covering at least one flooring end ( 11 ) comprises a base profiled rail ( 2 ) and a covering profiled rail ( 3 ), being connectable with each other by means of a mounting profiled rail ( 4 ). The covering profiled rail ( 3 ) comprising at least one covering wing ( 10 ) for overlapping the flooring end ( 11 ). The covering profiled rail ( 3 ) is mountable on the mounting profiled rail ( 4 ). The base profiled rail ( 2 ) comprises holding means for connecting the mounting profiled rail ( 4 ). Between the base profiled rail ( 2 ) and the mounting profiled rail ( 4 ) at least one elastic body ( 20 ) is provided, holding the mounting profiled rail ( 4 ) in an unloaded situation in a predefined position. The mounting profiled rail ( 4 ) can be pivoted relatively to the base profiled rail ( 2 ) by means of elastically deformation of the elastic body ( 20 ).

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A device comprising a profiled rail system and a flooring, said flooring having at least one flooring end and said profiled rail system covering said at least one flooring end,
 said profiled rail system, comprising at least one base profiled rail, at least one mounting profiled rail, at least one covering profiled rail, at least one elastic body and holding means,   said at least one covering profiled rail comprising at least one covering wing for overlapping said at least one flooring end,   said at least one mounting profiled rail having a predefined position,   said at least one covering profiled rail being mountable to said at least one mounting profiled rail,   said holding means connecting said at least one mounting profiled rail to said at least one base profiled rail,   said at least one elastic body being provided between said at least one base profiled rail and said at least one mounting profiled rail,   in an unloaded situation said at least one elastic body holds said at least one mounting profiled rail in said predefined position and   said at least one mounting profiled rail can be pivoted relatively to said at least one base profiled rail by means of elastic deformation of said at least one elastic body.   
     
     
         2 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one elastic body at least partially being provided below said at least one mounting profiled rail. 
     
     
         3 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one elastic body at least partially being provided laterally to said at least one mounting profiled rail. 
     
     
         4 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one mounting profiled rail comprises at least one laterally extending foot and said at least one elastic body is at least partially provided above the foot. 
     
     
         5 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one elastic body completely separates said at least one mounting profiled rail from said at least one base profiled rail. 
     
     
         6 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one elastic body is made from a polymer foam. 
     
     
         7 . The device according to  claim 6 , wherein said at least one elastic body is made together with said at least one base profiled rail as a single piece. 
     
     
         8 . The device according to  claim 6 , wherein said at least one elastic body is made together with said at least one mounting profiled rail as a single piece. 
     
     
         9 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one elastic body is made from at least one elastomer. 
     
     
         10 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one elastic body is provided between said at least one base profiled rail and said at least one mounting profiled rail in a dust seal manner. 
     
     
         11 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one base profiled rail comprises at least one recess for reception of said at least one elastic body. 
     
     
         12 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one mounting profiled rail comprises at least one recess for reception of said at least one elastic body.
