Abstract

An injector device for the percutaneous injection of fluids, such as medications, is disclosed. The device can have a mobile phone case. The mobile phone case can hold an auto-injector cartridge having a trigger, spring-loaded needle and reservoir holding a medication such as epinephrine or insulin. The device mobile phone case can communicate injection data to the phone. The phone can communicate the injection data to an emergency service provider.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . An injector system comprising:
a mobile phone; a fluid delivery cartridge comprising a reservoir and a fluid dispensing mechanism, and wherein the fluid delivery cartridge and phone are separable from each other; and a heat shield located between the reservoir and the phone.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the fluid dispensing mechanism further comprises a needle.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the needle is spring-loaded inside the cartridge.

4 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a mobile phone case, wherein the cartridge is removably attached to the phone case, and the phone case is removably attached to the phone.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cartridge comprises an electric circuit, and wherein the cartridge electric circuit is in data communication with the phone.

6 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the phone case comprises an electric circuit, and wherein the phone case electric circuit is in data communication with the phone.

7 . An injector system comprising:
a frame comprising a separably attached medication delivery device, an injector electric circuit; and a mobile phone, wherein the mobile phone is separably attached to the frame, and wherein in the phone is in data communication with the injector electric circuit.

8 . The device of claim 7 , further comprising a plug or outlet, wherein the mobile phone is attached to the plug or outlet.

9 . The device of claim 7 , further comprising:
 a trigger; a reservoir; a needle.

10 . The device of claim 9 , further comprising a needle channel in the trigger, wherein the needle is configured to slide through the needle channel.

11 . The device of claim 7 , further comprising a heat shield.
